I think he was going to walk past the horseshoe area but was called over by someone. I think that's why he looks around.

The problem with the few I checked on Google is their closing times - they close too early for that guy to be carrying their food at that time.

Even completely honest people are wary of getting involved with the police. People also think they didn't see or speak to Corrie so why bother telling the police they stopped in town to get £20 out for the babysitter or whatever. People would also worry about the possibility of having to be a witness in a court case. The longer this goes on the scarier the outcome could be. People are scared to be 'involved'. Plus those who might have a previous run in with the police or maybe took some drugs that night, or were alone all night etc don't want to be questioned by the police. No matter how much reassurance you offer people like this, few can be persuaded.

Good points, now though they have been exposed to the whole country and put them selves in the very position they might have been trying to avoid.

As an aside you've made me realise that not everyone thinks like me, I wouldn't think twice about contacting the police if I was ever involved in anything like this but maybe I've been lucky not to have had a negative experience with them

Yes - I've no doubt his family are acting in his best interests but gut instinct for me would guess so. I keep wondering that if he were seeing someone initially when he went missing why didn't they first of all say he was in a 'casual' or 'new' relationship? Seems odd they would say happily single and on dating sites (quoted from the findcorrie page FAQs), and now there's a pregnant gf. "Happily single" struck me as an odd term to use. As if he didn't want to be tied down? Or was that to stress that he wasn't looking for a lover?

I really hope that the family find out what happened ASAP because I cannot imagine their worry and hurt.

As cj says the timing only works for those few places open on St Andrew Street N. He is walking past The Snug toward Greenwoods/Hughes and means he has come from at least Sergeants Walk if for example he just simply went the wrong way initially. Maybe/probably nothing but could be everything....

Didn't Darroch say in the first tv interview that the conversation between him and Corrie was 'beyond happy' or that Corrie was 'beyond happy' ?

Is that Mcds 24hr?

No. Its hours are 05.00 to 23.00.

The nearest 24 hour outlet is the one at Fiveways roundabout at Barton Mills.

ETA that ironically, if that one had been a 24h branch, Corrie might well have eaten his burger and kebab on the street and then gone into McDonalds and nursed a coffee for a couple of hours, where he could have gone for a wee or whatever if he needed to.

McDonalds being closed in the early hours may have been a pivotal factor in the night's outcome.

Long shot.
I don't suppose we have any legal professionals here?Criminal law in particular. (I realise you're unlikely to want to out yourself if we do....) English law, obvs .

The conversation was 'beyond happy'.....one of the most positive conversations they could have.

Not much to say about these CCTV images....

All there is to say is - they have highly likely all been identified already.

Only one which will be hard to identify is the cyclist, especially if he isn't a local.

So last CCTV identifications - PRACTICALLY DONE

Buildings all searched - PRACTICALLY DONE

Family search in unknown location in the area - NEXT SUNDAY

As well as all the other stuff that is going on including the extra specialist paid for services that Uncle T is involved in.

Hi all

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I have joined after being totally intrigued and a tad obsessed about Corrie's disappearance. I have read as much as I can read of the Find Corrie page, the FB page and these threads. I think I am as up to date as possible.

I just wanted to put it out there, I have watched the CCTV of his last movements over and over. I mentioned to a friend last night who knew nothing about it and asked her to have a look for a fresh pair of eyes. (This friend is someone who is a good judge of situations and has fantastic common sense)

Her immediate reaction was that he was going to meet someone on the CCTV of him walking into the bin area. His body language, relaxed with hands in pockets, and that he looks around to see if anyone else nearby. In my mind this was a pre-arranged meeting.

I read that there was an interview with the Mamma Mia Pizza shop workers/owners - could somebody link to that for me please?

<modsnip>

I know this sounds daft and a long shot but I'm wondering whether Corrie's close friends who he went out with a lot can think of the last time they went out in Bury and whether this CCTV shows his movements after leaving the club and whether he went to this loading bay after getting food usually - ie. who goes in before or after him and if he leaves alone, or any clues this way? I feel like the info his mates have given has been very slack *but totally understand this may be slack public knowledge, perhaps limiting what we are told due to closing in on someone*

This is my first post too, I've been reading all the threads since he first went missing as I have read up on many different people in the past who've gone missing. Whilst I cannot offer anything substantial I wanted to reply to your post as I also done something similar a few days ago. My sister is a PO, she didn't know too much about Corrie but had heard bits and pieces on the news ect. Because of her police training I asked her to watch the last video of Corrie and tell me what she thought about his demeanour. She thought the same as me with regard to his body language, at the start of the clip he is jogging slightly but then something takes his attention, his demeanour immediately changes and even tho he doesn't remove his hands from his pockets, his shoulder slouch over, my sister and I agree that we have seen men walk like that in the past and it is usually a sign of trying to "guard" themselves (like in the sense of being wary about something), he goes from being shoulders straight and pulled up to then hunching over. The fact he is looking around also suggests whatever he is about to do he is debating it in his mind, if it was a clear decision there would be no hesitation, and if it was something harmless he wouldn't have looked around to see if anyone was watching.

In my mind if I knew nothing about this case, and watched the clip and was asked my opinion on what the person was doing I'd say that they either saw someone out of the corner of their eye, or were called over by someone. You can then see him calculating if ts a good idea or not to approach the bin area. Once he decided to go ahead his shoulders hunch up, and he looks a bit (for want of a better word) sheepish? Like he's been caught by someone doing something he shouldn't, almost like a kid when their parent catches them up to no good (not that I'm saying he was). My sister believes he looks like he says something, just at the end, his mouth moves. I think if someone was there, in that corner he either saw them doing something they shouldn't have been doing, or he knew them. Otherwise his body language would have been more open. If his personality is exactly as we've been told it is then someone of that jolly, charry nature would be more jovial if speaking to a stranger to ask for a cig ect. Whatever he was going to do he was wary about doing it. I don't believe it was to urinate because it's not an especially hidden place, and why would he have been so hesitant. Anyway sorry for my ramblings, I know everyone had different opinions but I really think a body language expert would help in this case.

Also want to say how amazing everyone is on here, you do not get enough credit for the work you do
