I'm surprised nobody has come forward to say they saw Corrie that night in flex, if he was asked to leave he drew attention to the door staff so others must've seen it too. I really expected to have people comment on the fb page saying they saw him out and what mood he was in.

Maybe people have come forward, we will have no idea what witnesses the police have.

It seems there's a wall of silence from everyone who knew Corrie, except for his family and even then, I don't feel we are getting a great deal of information.
He was at RAF Honington for 3 years and my impression is that he went out on the town fairly frequently, even the guy in Mamma Mia said Corrie was a regular.
I know when I used to go out every weekend or every other, I'd start to see familiar faces, be they bar staff, civilians, bouncers, whoever else. Then you inevitably chat to those people, nothing heavy but maybe an exchange of name and "how are you" sort of thing, just light banter.
However in Corries case, no one has said anything about him on that night. Except for the Mamma Mia guy no one else has commented, unless I've missed it.
I mean, I know Corrie wasn't out for long that night but really??
Not one person has commented and said "yeah he was kind of down" or "he was drinking heavily that night"
Not sure what to make of it to be honest.

Were his mates out in bse at all??!! We've never heard anything from any of them as far as I'm aware..do we know for sure he was supposed to be out with them in the first place, they may of all tottled off somewhere else!

That's a question I don't recall having seen before. It's obviously possible that they set off to go to BSE but once they hit the A14 decided to go on to Ipswich or Cambridge for a change. With mobile phones it just takes one call between the two car loads for plans to be changed on the fly.

And meanwhile Corrie has made his own way into BSE and is looking for his mates in vain.

Yes - very possible.

that really makes sense maybe your right his friends changed there mind it would show why Corrie seemed to be waiting around a lot

i just look for Nicola and Tonys updates comments I haven't commented on there but my daughter has..... Back to the cars didn't someone put a pic up from google air( which is an old pic) and the same silver car was on it or was that another one ? I think the cars would be connected for all travelling down to same sort of venue I don't think they would be connected for a abduction.....<modsnip>
That would be interesting as lots of other info has stated there are no residences there I have also seen maps on here with the word flats on the buildings adjacent to horseshoe but we have been assured several times he is no longer in that area so that seems final doesn't it? However it is questionable. Perhaps we should list all the questionable aspects ?

...and then collect him on the way back to base.Very feasible I suppose. That's all well and good. Just like all the other theories we've talked about we could make it fit quite easily. It just leaves the 'missing' part out...and if he was collected by the lads then he would've presumably been heading in the Hon direction. His phone pings suggest otherwise.

Are there any late night joints that close around 0300 and are within 30 minutes drive of BSE?

Or maybe he never intended on meeting his mates at all, maybe the whole point of him going out was to meet someone else. The excessive drinking...Dutch courage? Lots of food..enough for 2? Meeting got called off at the last minute hence the hanging around to meet up later on?

If we go on the theory that it was a pre-arranged pickup, would it be safe to say that it was a taxi, a web hookup or a friend? Friend is prob ruled out as most of his buddies were out that night themselves and it sounds like he never did meet up with them. So - taxi? Or web hookup?

Earlier, we talked about Grindr and Tinder and how the info in those apps is impossible to trace without the phone itself. Would anyone know - if you logged into your account on these type of apps from a different device, does it show your history? Like, who you've talked to and maybe the message stream that went back and forth?

It sounds like it'd be a way to see if he did communicate through an app? It's only been said that he sent a photo to a "friend" at 3:08 - he could have sent the person the photo of he and Darroch so they'd recognize him when they pull up in the horseshoe area? (Like: Hey, can you send a recent photo so I really know it's you?)

Taxi seems like it'd be easy to trace (do you have uber and lyft there in the UK? - an app where anyone can use their own car as a taxi service thru the app). Could he have used something like that to get him back to base?

A friend of mine uses Tinder and she said you have various pictures that come up and you have a option to like or not if you do press the like and they do you can then chat I don't know if conversations are saved I know she also said that if you actually pass a person on the street it can show up on the app I didn't like the sound of that and she didn't either and has stopped using it. I have a friend who uses grinder will find out more about that one

i have spoken to a couple of door men friends there head door men and from my town they told me if they thought I had to much they wouldn't allow me in the club unless they were sorting a scuffle out and I slid past them. I no Bury is not my home town but they use the tap on the shoulder method when your being a bit rowdy and drawing attention of the negative way to yourself and others and tapped to leave or you have drank to much at the bar and causing a scene its usually the bar staff that refuse to serve you anymore alcohol .... Not that I'm saying Corrie was causing trouble I'm just saying what happens here could be different in Bury

Thats fits exactly with what Uncle Tony said right at the start, that Corrie knew the bouncer and IIRC he actually used the phrase tap on the shoulder and there hadn't been any trouble as such but Corrie was asked to leave as he'd had to much to drink.

Can anyone very kindly repost the site of the two mobile masts on a map, ideally with the 5km circle around, thank you x

Would you actually go to a party at 3.30am though?

Or am I showing my age again?

Yep showing your age. My daughter is 20 and is out til 5 in the morning. Most clubs kick out at 3:30 and they often go elsewhere once finished. These days they often don't even go out until midnight so 3:30 is relatively early for them!

What do you mean by "joints"? Pubs? Clubs? And for what exactly?

I notice there's a 24-hour transport caff (Red Lodge Cafe) just off the A11 at Red Lodge, between Barton Mills and Newmarket.

Coincidentally there are 3 or 4 vehicle breakers and metal recyclers in and around that small settlement.

There's also a patch of woodland with a pond in the middle right in the middle of Red Lodge.

I think the 0330 time is a blindingly obvious clue to be honest. I just can't get my head around why. We know by suggestion that there are many outlets that close around that time. Can anyone local propose a list of possibles for us?

Grindr is very much the same, in fact there was a glitch where you could literally pinpoint someone's location.

Tinder definitely doesn't give you any notifications if someone is near you, you'd need to log in to see how close people are it's either measured in km or miles. I believe grindr works like that though. Tinder is linked to Facebook so it's generally Facebook pictures that are on the app unless you change them to one uploaded from your phone. To be able to chat with anyone on the app you need to swipe to like them and them to like you, if you both swipe to say you like each other it's a match and only then can contact be made. Any messages disappear if you are unmatched, by either you or the other person removing you. Then the messages are lost. So even if Corrie had been messaging someone and the police/family logged in on another device, if anyone dodgy had been messaging him they'd only need to unmatch with him or delete their account and any messages would be lost.

After hour places you know you can get a drink.

Grindr isn't exactly pinpoint-accurate on location when you're using it on 3G/4G (but it can be if you're using it on wi-fi), it literally lists the people that are closest to you and can tell you if another user is, say, 20ft away. It doesn't get anymore specific than that, could be 20ft in any direction, could be inaccurate and really be 200ft. During the day I don't think you'd have a chance of tracking somebody down that way, but in a quiet city centre at 3:30am with only a handful of people walking around.. probably.

I was referring to late night social venues Melmoth such as nightclubs or bowling alleys or bars gambling houses?
