I'm only 150 miles away from this case and it is sad that the first I read or hear about it is on a US-based forum:(

Subscribe yourself to the UK cases thread (on my link below) then you'll get notified when anything new comes up. Also, please everybody, add any new cases on there when you see them. So easy to miss UK stories as they get buried a bit on here!!

I lived in the Conwy Valley and worked in Llandudno for 14 years. Like a previous poster, I knew nothing about this case until I saw it here today.

Can't find any MSM updates but, according to a November 9 post on the FB page, Debbie is still missing.

It's such a strange case. A big portion of the friends on Deborah's FB list are African (most have been added since she vanished). Has she fled abroad? Has someone hacked her FB? Why no media coverage on this?

I'm pretty sure I have seen Deborah listing on missingpeople.org before, but she's not on there now (though my laptop is playing up, can somebody check please?) If she's not on there does that mean the police no longer consider her missing?

Missing People isn't run by the police, it is a charity. They do only report cases when they have been reported missing to the police and the police also have to approve it going on the website.

So I'd guess if someones family believed the person took their own life and don't want them splashed all over the internet anymore they could ask if the appeal is taken off the website.

Was Debbie ever found? That group doesn't seem to have anything on it now even though it says it's a public group. Just people selling things?! o_O

Sorry for the multiple posts. I've just done a bit of digging on SM and there's definitely something off about this whole thing and the characters involved.
