Missing: have you seen missing Harvey Parker who has links to York

Our colleagues at the Metropolitan Police are appealing for our help regarding the whereabouts of missing Harvey Parker.

Harvey, who is 20-years-old and from Lambeth in London, was last seen leaving Heaven Nightclub by Charing Cross Railway Station in Westminster just after midnight on Friday 17 December.

Harvey left the nightclub alone and there is nothing to indicate any reason for him to go missing.

Police and Harvey’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Harvey is described as 5ft 8ins tall and of slight build.

He has connections with York.

The Met's Detective Sergeant Dick Nation, from the Area South Safeguarding Unit, said:

“We have not been able to speak to Harvey on his phone and we are not aware of any reason why he should not be in contact with his family.

“Both his family and police are extremely worried by his disappearance and we are asking for anyone who may have seen Harvey after he left the club, or has any other information, to call police immediately.”

Harvey, 20, has not been seen or heard of since the early hours of Friday, December 17.

They were last seen at a Lil Simz concert at O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday evening, before attending LGBTQ+ nightclub Heaven in Charing Cross, Central London.

Friends say Harvey attends York University so may also have connections there.

One post on Twitter read: “We are looking for Harvey. He is 20 and vulnerable.

“He’s missed 3 work shifts and not on socials since 1.30am on Friday - unheard of - and not in touch with any friends.

“His family has visited all London hospitals and informed police.”

Harvey Parker is familiar with London. He went to Westminster School and - when not at university - he lives with his mother in Waterloo.

Police searching for a student have released CCTV images taken on the night he went missing as they renew their appeal for information.

Harvey Parker, 20, from Lambeth, south London, was last seen leaving Heaven nightclub, close to Charing Cross station, at about 02:15 GMT on Friday.

CCTV shows him on Craven Street before walking south towards the Embankment.

The Met Police said there was "nothing to indicate any reason for him to go missing".

Harvey's mother Amanda Armstrong, described her son as a "lovely, sweet, friendly, music loving young man who is 20 and who is autistic.

"He has high functioning autism meaning he doesn't necessarily read a situation in the same way that others do," she said.

"This makes him vulnerable in certain situations".

She added that it was completely out of character to just "go off", to not show up for work and not be active on social media.

"We just want him back for Christmas," she said.

Yes, The Thames. And if his mother lives in Waterloo and he was going home, it would make sense that he would leave Heaven and head down Villiers St towards Embankment because the quickest route to Waterloo is over the Golden Jubilee footbridge. It’s not a long walk, just 15 mins or so.

If he did leave the club at 02:15 (as per BBC) it seems unlikely he’d be heading for Embankment station to go elsewhere, because the lines that run through that station all end before or around 00:30 Monday to Saturday.

If he left just after midnight (as per other sources) that changes things, obviously.

An urgent appeal has been launched after a 20-year-old student, Harvey Parker, disappeared after a night out in London.

Harvey left Heaven nightclub in London, alone at about 2.15am on Friday (16 December).


Friends of the University of York student say he had attended a Lil Simz concert at the O2 Academy in Brixton, south London, prior to attending the well-known LGBT+ venue.

He was moving south from Charing Cross, towards the Embankment, before he disappeared, new CCTV images show.

Family and friends of Harvey Parker have issued an urgent appeal for information after the gifted music student vanished on a night out in London on Thursday.

The 20-year-old university student was last seen alone in the early hours of Friday morning, at around 02:15am, leaving Heaven nightclub by Charing Cross railway station.

Calls to his mobile phone have gone unanswered and his mother, Amanda Parker, is desperate for any information about his whereabouts.

She told the Metro that she “can’t think of any reason” why Harvey would go missing and said that on the night in question he had changed after the concert at their home in Waterloo before heading back out.

Further CCTV has been identified of Harvey then entering Craven Street and walking south towards the Embankment.

Scotland Yard said the search for Harvey Parker was ordered after officers found footage suggesting he may have “entered the water” near the Golden Jubilee pedestrian bridge that links Embankment to Waterloo. In a statement, it added: “At this stage of the investigation there is nothing to suggest that there is any third-party involvement.”
