All he's done there is explain that he deliberately picked two people from two different circles, making it less likely for anybody to work out they were descriptions of real people... and still got caught .

Also it definitley sounds like somebody else who also knew both circles of friends came forward with this info, rather than each of them separately coming forward.

Agree CP, someone probably family... a son? Who else would know?

Dispute led to Helen Bailey's death, Stewart tells court

T: There is a dispute out there somewhere, you tell us, that was sufficiently serious to get Helen killed?
S: Yes
T: Something out there that meant people had, in a last resort, killed Helen?
S: Yes
T: And you haven’t the vaguest idea what that is?
S: No
T: You had nothing to do with that at all?
S: No
T: Yet the people who killed her have brought this all back to you?
S: Yes
T: Help us, what on earth could that dispute be?
S: I don’t know

15:22
'You poisoned and killed her' - 'No'

T: You poisoned her and killed her.
S: I didn’t, no
T: Whoever it was, and the Crown suggest it is you, chose to shamefully deal with her body
S: That wasn’t me
T: Any thoughts as to why anyone else would want to put Helen’s body, the dog, the toy, the pillow slip, into her cess pit?
S: Is my best guess allowed?
T: You tell us why
S: I don’t know why

Well thank God snoopy is innocent!

Is my best guess allowed?

does he think he's on Mastermind ?

Interesting, someone tweeted that if they could see IS face they'd be able to tell if he was lying. I responded it was obvious without seeing his face. Random person liked my tweet. We're not the only ones :D

[h=3]Stewart: 'I did have to lie'[/h]T: You deliberately chose to poison her over a period of some months and actioned this when you had to
S: No
T: She was aware she was getting sleepy wasn’t she?
S: She was very concerned about that yes. Back in April, and in 2012
T: She would soon go to the doctors, and a simple blood test would discover that drug in her blood?
S: I don’t know
T: Helen was sensible wasn’t she?
S: Yes
T: She wouldn’t be taking herself off to the doctors for feeling sleepy if she was taking sleeping pills would she?
S: No
T: You are a liar aren’t you?
S: I did have to lie, but I’m not a liar
T: You carefully planned to cover your tracks
S: I had no tracks to cover
T: You left messages behind to be found
S: I wanted Joe, Nick and Helen to see those
T: You might have got away with it, if you didn’t take that phone to Broadstairs?
S: I didn’t need to get away with anything

[h=3]Kidnappers 'must have panicked'[/h]Stewart is now being re-examined by the defence. He said Helen’s body must have been in the cess pit because Joe and Nick “panicked” when they saw police and press involvement. He said the first ever allegation made by the prosecution that there was a slow poisoning of Helen was well after his defence case statement had been served. Stewart said he was in hospital for just over a week for his cancer scare, and Helen had the Zopiclone at that time.
