Thank you, Dolly, for that wonderful picture of you and Dolly-Dog on 'the bridal path' (fortuitous typo in a veil of fog). We have fog here too - for all I know we're in the same area of course - but I am also relying on Judge Bright to shine through the murk.
I only realised this morning the probable reason why you'd chosen a quotation from Blake for the foot of your posts- Helen, in the picture the Cambridge News always uses, has a volume of Blake on the shelf behind her.
Wow, I hadn't seen that photo of the Blake book, what a strange coincidence. I've always thought that poem 'The Sick Rose' very powerful and for me is sums up the dark dynamics in this case very powerfully.
I'm still a bit anxious after SRF's tour de force.
I think you flatter him by calling that a "tour de force".

Wonder why he is never in a suit - has his jacket on. Is it the done thing for a defendant to dress down these days to give a more relaxed impression to the jury. ?
Interesting that he has never worn a suit - it's always been shirt, sometimes jumper, jeans at least once.
Wonder if it's because he doesn't have a suit - not worked for years and can't imagine him going to places that required a suit - and perhaps it was just too difficult for whoever is providing his clothing to be able to buy a suit for him ?
He'd have needed one for his (cough) wedding, surely?
Another thing he didn't want to waste money on?

LOL Jeremy Clarkson is probably his style icon.
ETA - I recall him wearing one on the Flickr photos of the bowls celeb dinner.
