We want to hear from anyone who recognises this van.

We remain extremely concerned about Katie Kenyon, 33, after she was reported missing from home last week.

Detectives are today continuing their efforts to find missing Katie Kenyon (pictured right).

And as part of our investigation want to hear from anyone who recognises this van (pictured below).

We remain extremely concerned about Katie’s welfare after she was reported missing from home last week.

And detectives from our Force Major investigation Team are following a number of lines of enquiry to try and find out what has happened to her.

Her family are extremely concerned and say Katie’s disappearance is out of character for her. They are currently being supported by specially trained officers.

We believe that at about 9.30am on Friday (April 22nd) a woman matching Katie’s description left an address on Todmorden Road, Burnley with a man and travelled in the silver Ford Transit (pictured) registration MT57 FLC to the Bolton by Bowland area. She has not been seen since.

We are continuing to search in the area along with partners from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and mountain rescue teams.

A 50-year-old man from Burnley was arrested on suspicion of kidnap and detectives have today been given a further 36 hours to question him. That man is known to Katie.

We continue to appeal to anyone who was in Bolton by Bowland or that area and may have seen Katie, either in company or on her own, or who saw or has dashcam footage of a van matching the description to come forward and contact us.

Katie is described as white, 33, five ft nine ins, with shoulder length strawberry blond/ginger hair. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt/jacket and white top, black leggings and flip flops.

Det Chief Insp Al Davies, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “We continue to be extremely concerned about Katie and we have a large team who are working hard to try and find out what has happened to her.

“I am keeping an open mind about what has happened to her but my concern obviously grows as time goes by.

“I would appeal again to anyone who was in the Bolton by Bowland area on Friday and saw anything suspicious to get in touch, especially if they saw the silver van or Katie alone or in company. Please do come and speak to us even if you think the information you have may not be important.

“We continue to support Katie’s family and to keep them updated with any developments.”

Lancashire Constabulary - Do you recognise this van? Detectives continue appeal for information about missing Katie

Police have used CCTV to trace Katie in a silver Ford Transit vehicle, registration MT57 FLC, from Todmorden Road, in Burnley, to Bolton by Bowland, near to Gisburn Forest.

The van then made the return journey back to Todmorden Road, but, police say, there is no evidence Katie was in the vehicle.

I'm local to this, I've been on edge since I first seen the appeals from her family. I'm not allowed to share anything unless it's been in the media am I?

It depends what it is. If it's local knowledge about the area or something like that then it's fine. If it's identifying someone that hasn't been reported on yet, then that wouldn't be allowed.

This now the fifth day Katie - who neighbours believed was a care worker - has been missing.
