First two accused have had a pre lim hearing at Warwick CC and a PCMH has been fixed for 24 February and a trial date fixed for 8 June, no mention yet of the third accused charged recently...

A 17-year-old boy has been found guilty of the manslaughter of a teenager who was stabbed in the chest. The defendant from London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was found not guilty of murder. ...also acquitted the defendant of attempting to murder a second victim who was also stabbed. [snip] The teenager was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Tuesday. Three men who pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice ahead of the trial will also be sentenced.

A youth has been sentenced today to ten years' imprisonment following his conviction for the manslaughter of a 17-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed following an altercation in a town centre flat. The youth, who is now seventeen years old, was convicted of manslaughter, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and perverting the course of justice on 19 March 2021 at Warwick Crown Court after his trial. [snip] After the stabbing the youth defendant went to meet three friends at a nearby bed and breakfast and those three men, Richard Talawila, 19, Abraham Kombey, 19, and William Hutsch, 18, pleaded guilty to helping him remove and destroy evidence of his crime. Richard Talawila, Abraham Kombey, and William Hutsch were each sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
