This is exactly what I think & more so after seeing that footage. She has her phone & either answers it or calls from it. Could be the friend who she walks back to meet in the queue later as he (?) seems to be on the phone possibly to her as he appears to hug her when she gets to him. Could that be her friend Ryan in that CCTV, just thinking it looks like a blue jacket??
Its really critical to know if she had her phone- if she did, and it was recovered inside her home, then she made it home and went back out. She may or may not have been locked out and she may or may not have had on a coat or even different clothes. I am sure the police have her mobile data and already know if her phone was active downtown in that time frame, but from our perspective it really throws a wrench (sorry, spanner) into the sequence.

Can anyone help please , I’m searching key words and can’t get results to go back further , it’s like the early reports have gone ?

Does look like 03/02 is earliest report!

I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding what I’m seeing here...but does this show Libby walking into a group of people queueing for taxis and then getting into one before those people? Where I come from that would cause a riot no matter what state you were in.
I don’t think so.

The first part of the footage is her walking to the club, early enough to avoid a big queue. The second part of the footage is this walk from a different angle. Then the third part of the footage is five minutes later, after getting to the door and being told she won’t be allowed in, she walks back the way she came. A queue has now built up to get into the club. It looks like she’s comforted by a friend then gets in a taxi.

That’s what I see anyway

If Libby's outfit was that different from what she wore earlier, the police would have said, as they saw her on the bench cctv. But if she did make it home, she didn't do her usual thing of calling her friends to let them know?!?

Ah...ok...I thought this was a queue for taxis

I'm not sure if this has already been said but I think the third guy back in the grey coat at he beginning could be the same buy that comforts her when she is rejected?
I thought that was possible too. Looks like he hugs her. Could be a girl. Hard to tell but I thought boy. Although I believe it was her flatmate Amelia who was meant to have put her in the cab?

I was most surprised at her presence! She looks like she's got such a confident stride, making her way back and forth between people at a fair pace, which is in contrast to the image of her that I had. I'm like that though, quiet, shrinking, socially awkward, that one extra drink and I'm Tyra Banks

Great post, it's nice to hear from a taxi driver.

I have a question and I wonder if you could answer it for me because it's been bugging me. If Libby was as drunk as media are suggesting (falling over and such) would a taxi driver take her home because of risk of vomiting and damage to the vehicle? I know where I live if you are seen to be very drunk they can and regularly do refuse to take you because it could put them out of action for the night whilst they clear up?
It’s down to drivers discretion. It can be a morally difficult problem as it’s do I risk getting the car full of sick vs do I leave a lone female on the street. Luckily it doesn’t happen so often. It is definitely easier to drive off and leave a male than a female. Maybe as I have daughters in there early 20s myself.

Police still cutting down vegetation in Oak Road
Police are continuing to cut down vegetation in the search for clues around Libby’s disappearance."

I really want to know if they are looking for something in particular or just hoping to find something.
I’ve got a feeling they are purposely withholding information to see if any of his family give away any more clues voluntarily like they already have done in the press.

Police search seems done for day
The search seems all but complete for the day and there is full access to the pond. A police van remains in the car park."

I think she looks well on her way to being wasted and if she had downed a load of spirits just prior to this then the full force of her intake would only just be starting to take effect.

She is have to correct her direction with each step and her legs are already not doing what she wants them to do. I think this footage is quite in keeping with how she apparently was half an hour later if she had downed drinks.

I hope they find something soon. I've got a feeling the police are going to start being heavily criticized soon if they don't!

Its really critical to know if she had her phone

"Friends have said the student did not have her phone on her during the night."
Missing Hull student made it home before disappearance, says mother

"Ch Supt Ward also confirmed Libby had returned to her home address but never entered the house while her mobile phone has also been recovered."
He said: “We now know Libby arrived on Wellesley Avenue, her home address, around 11.29pm, although it’s not believed she entered the property. On searching the address, we did discover her mobile phone which, despite analysis, has not provided any further insight as to where she may be or her movements that night"
Every word from police update on day 4 of search for Libby
