I thought that was the earlier meet, then they moved to her friend the shrugging boys friend’s house (lads) for the main drinking event, prior to heading into town.

Quite possibly. If that's the case, you know more than I do. Some of her friends were quite prominent during early appeals, and then it understandably went quiet.

I agree, I think her friends may have become quiet as they may have come under criticism for not escorting Libby home. I suspect they were likely of similar alcohol capacity to be fair. I’m only going on the interview of the boy that shrugged a lot, that said they all met up at his friends house for drinks. I gathered he was also a student so lived close by.

Honestly? No idea.
It breaks it down further through the pages.
So in England in that quarter, there were only then 48 referrals of adults of a Uk national status referred.
I’ll read through tomorrow if I get time and see if I can decipher but I don’t feel it’s overly relevant to LS even if it is quite interesting.
I wonder if all missing persons are marked as a potential statistic or if they’d need to have evidence? Not all referrals are from LE’s though.

I appreciate that the idea of LS being trafficked has been pooh poohed on here, but, I’m intrigued as one of our Hull members saying that most in Hull seem to think that may have occurred. There’s been reported trafficking in Hull of Eastern European, realistically, would British Nationals be untouchable? I think possibly, today’s charges of receiving stolen goods has made me feel that PR is not entirely the loner some may perceive him to be.

I have to admit, I thought I had a pretty clear opinion on his behaviour and motivations as far as the burglary etc goes, but now I'm waiting to see what tomorrow's charges look like.

Receiving stolen goods may just be to cover the fact they can’t prove he personally stole them? I thought?
Could it be that he bought them knowing they were stolen, would that come under the same umbrella.

I don’t think BN’s are untouchable, no. I’m sure it happens. Very rarely but I’m sure it does. Like cars, stolen to order?
I think snatching a middle class British student is going to be far more risky than a potentially less ‘missed’ eastern European (or other nationality) who are likely more vulnerable.
Seems a dangerous move to me.

True, the handling stolen good charge does indicate some sort of criminal networking... you would have to know or believe the goods to be stolen and they are indeed stolen, along with dishonesty. Not a light charge by any means, up to 14 years imprisonment.

PropertyWas In Fact Stolen: In order to be convicted of a receipt of stolen property, the property must actually be in a stolen status.

So, could that be as simple as buying a £10 watch off his mate down the pub, whereby he should have ought to reasonably known it was stolen?

No British nationals would not be untouchable but Libby taken off a bench or into a car would still be abduction. Trafficking 99.9% likely is not going to involve an abduction. People have gone over the info and statistics as to why earlier.
I'd eat a hat of any one's choosing it trafficking was in any way involved!

I’d have to disagree; you would need to have a higher degree of knowledge than ‘ought’ to have known - that’s simply recklessness. You must believe or know.
