The assertion that LB walked up Peel Park Avenue and not the path alongside Whittakers is based on CCTV images beyond the Whittakers Arms but before reaching Peel Peel Avenue.

The distance from LB's H/A to the junction of Burnley Road and Peel Park Avenue is 175m +/- 10m according to OS Mapping.

CCTV images from Burnley Road after Peel Park Ave did not pick up LB nor did a bus travelling on Burnley Road.

I believe that the report of CCTV from 256 Burnley Road is correct.

we will have to agree to disagree on that one - I make it 280 metres from the bungalow cctv to the corner of Peel Park Ave.

The bus cctv was at 45 seconds after the bungalow cctv - if LB was heading to Peel Park Ave then she would still have been visible on Burnley Road at that time.

Just a thought concerning the defendants clothing.

He has ASD and he may have routine including wearing the same clothes.

It is possible that he had more than one set of identical clothing. One of those sets may also have been disposed of!
Yes, isn't a trait of autism having a strong affinity to things? will only eat brown food, will only wear grey tracksuits...?

I am of to buy a cold cider from the garage on Burnley Road so will scout out the timings, distance and cctv situation

My daughter has multiple of the same outfits, and we have to rotate them so they are all even wear... as a new one will just not do.

My 18 year old son has Aspergers. He still wears age 14 clothes because he won’t wear different clothes. He has four outfits he rotates all are the same. He also has to eat the same food every day. So it is is highly likely the defendant did similar.

I can’t see CCTV on any of the bungalows or the point the defendant is picked up wheeling the bin near Whitewell Rd unless someone can see more than my tired eyes can. Google maps isn’t that current - where I live it still shows a factory that was demolished over 4 years ago. I also see where people are coming from with the why not just use the cut through at the Whitaker’s Arms rather than walk all the way around.
It’ll be well deserved cold cider IMO :D

Just editing as now I can see something outside bungalow but it not that clear.

Yes the shoes......is it possible if he was coerced by someone else they have told him to remove her clothing and belongings and bring them to be disposed of ....he’s gone back home or wherever the disposal site was without the shoes as he’s either forgot to remove them or couldn’t remove them as he has difficulty with shoe laces hence them being cut off ? My son is autistic and his memory span isn’t great , I can give him instructions that he appears to have taken in but minutes later it’s gone , also his dexterity is pretty bad so has trouble with knots and fiddley stuff . JMO
That’s extremely underweight IMO - wonder if it’s a typo?
I’d have put her around the 10 stone from the still of her and the photographs.
She will have been more 13 stones. Very tall so looks lighter

I stand corrected with regard to the distance. Read height!!

Similar to you I make the distance from the 330 Burnley Road (first bungalow) to Peel Park Avenue 300m.

The reported CCTV from 256 Burnley Road is only 9 terraced doors along from Peel Park Avenue, approx 60m.

These are all common traits of those with ASD. Although no two people with ASD present exactly the same.

So, house 256 does indeed have cctv, so that solves that debate. The distance from the bungalows to the corner of pp Ave is 0.17mile. The distance from 256 to pp Ave is 0.02mile (28 secs). The still released of her was from the bungalow next to the pub. I always assumed the time 4.06 related to that particular cctv still but the time of 4.06 must be of the Cctv from 256. Assumptions!! Now enjoying my cider

Thanks so much for doing that.Hope you really enjoy your well earnt cider.

I’m assuming all the CCTV footage of defendant going on to the coppice is from between the back of the end Terraced House (332) and first bungalow 330.
There was a snippet of footage from the 12th Aug 19 (late at night) on YouTube that’s now gone

The Whitakers has reopened..support your local.
Piggy Pedant here, some of the reporting make mention of LB turning down Peel Park Avenue, Justice Yip included, believe you me it's a piggin' steep hill. You would turn up it from Burnley Road.

From Judge's summing up

He ( MF ) said none of the four pairs of trainers seized by police had a blue flash logo or were Airwalk trainers which Ms Braithwaite described.

If he had 4 pairs then very likely he could have had 5 pairs and one was disposed of after the killing ?

Were these 4 pairs of trainers all the same brand and colour? Does anyone know?

Thank you so much for doing that Roostercat - so Peel Park Ave it is then..... how sad to think that if she had been a minute or two earlier, or Zoe had been a few minutes later, their paths could have crossed and Zoe could have warned her against the suspicious man on the Coppice.

Enjoy the cider :D
