perhaps because of the way it had been torn, which they thought would show some type of attack against Logan , rather than just a top which had worn out.

I think it is possible that AW found it when cleaning the bedroom.

Is it possible they put on disposable gloves when touching anything of Logan's, to show him how germ ridden he was, therefore none of their dna?

£1000 really isn’t a lot once bills and living costs are factored in. It sounds it, but it not.

My partner both have our own bank accounts and cards, but sometimes we’ll use the others account. E.g my partner has Amazon prime, no point paying for it twice, so I’ll order on his account and give him money. I don’t think it’s something that unusual.

I’m always shocked at the amount some people get in benefits. AW has more in benefits than people I work with who work full time in stressful jobs. Plus no doubt she had reduced rent, single person council tax etc. So I’m not buying into them being hard done by financially at all and would have a hard time making any allowances for her on that basis personally.

I bet they bought cheap clothes for Logan, but many people do as they will grow out of them. So that alone doesn’t really impact on my opinions.

However, the picture is definitely building for me of someone who knew the tricks to take advantage of the social system when it suited them (and had all the props - hearing aid, but no known hearing probs, wheelchair , but no physical problems found, seizures but MRI clear..).

I find it relevant because it adds to my opinion of AW being untrustworthy, deceitful and manipulative.

Guilty all the way for me still.

Im really surprised that she got benefit/allowance for physical problems (just using hearing aids, wheelchair, etc) without well documented medical history and a document signed by a specialist.
How is it even possible without a tonne of documents (medical tests proving an illness)?

She would have been assessed at some point by the DWP (benefit department) whether it was on UC, old style ESA or if she was receiving PiP. The DWP will do their own assessment before approving any disability/health related benefit. They contact the persons GP too as part of the assessment.
£1k definitely isn’t gonna fund a rock star lifestyle, but if that figure is after rent, it’s gonna afford a reasonable standard of living.
But that’s just rent. Still council tax (even reduced), food, utilities, internet and phone, clothes and school uniform. Living costs quickly mount up.

God knows. It always fascinates me that people manage it or that people “know” so many others who manage it. I’m doing my reassessment forms at the moment (a couple of years late due to covid) and they are very in-depth regarding every aspect of my life and how my disabilities affect me.
Once I’ve sent my forms back I will then have to have a meeting with an assessor who will decide what levels of benefit I am entitled to. The assessors are not very kind (to say the least!) and the last one I saw flat out lied about me and I had to appeal.
I’ve been on these benefits for 10 years and every time it’s a struggle to keep them, and I’m genuinely disabled with lots of paperwork to back it up. Goodness knows how the fakers manage it.

It's not unusual at all (but, just an FYI - he can share his prime benefits with you so you get to use prime tv & deliveries without having to fandango paying him back etc)

We don't know as fact that she did get disability benefit payments - some people are just assuming.

It's the difference between an opinion based on lived experience (I have a disabled daughter who suffered a Stroke at 13 so definitely not 'milking it or playing the system' ) and I know someone/I heard/ so and so down the road says ...

She already stated she couldn't work due to her seizures so she may well have been getting something other than UC; PIP and/or new style ESA.

New Style Employment and Support Allowance

As someone who both supports people with disabilities to claim benefits and also claims PIP for a condition of my own, I know first hand you need a diagnosis to claim for the majority of conditions. They DO not make it easy & will ask for evidence of the diagnosis plus the person who provided said diagnosis.
