In January? Doubt it. He might find some root vegetables and a few brustle sprouts or winter lettuce perhaps. There wouldn't be much of a selection this time of year. Considering he's Afghani, he'd probably not recognise what was ready to eat unless he had a particular interest in temperate gardening.thank you
he'd have some free food too if he was feeling well enough to eat
Thinking about it, probably fewer people actually at an allotment this time of year as well. Perhaps he could hide out in a shed or something. Mind you, there could be an artic blizzard blowing through and there'd still be some salt of the earth old codger out there busying themselves with mysterious allotments tasks.
