UK - Manhunt for attempted murderer after dog walker in her 50s found unconscious in Suffolk

A woman is fighting for her life after being apparently attacked while taking her springer spaniel for an early morning walk on a quiet country path.

The victim, who is in her 50s, was found by members of the public on an isolated track between a sewage works and a railway line.

Police are treating the incident as an attempted murder, and officers have been searching for evidence at the scene off Rectory Lane in Brantham, Suffolk.

The woman, who has not been named, is said to have left her home at 5am on Wednesday to walk her dog.

A member of the public tried to help her and dialled 999 after finding her injured and unconscious 90 minutes later with her spaniel unharmed next to her.

Suffolk Police said she remained in a critical condition today.

Is the jacket of an expensive brand? Here in Sweden there have been several cases where teens was robbed of their expensive coats/jackets at knifepoint by other teens.

They said the pink jacket was made of waterproof material of they type made by an outdoor clothing brand, possibly Regatta.

Regatta is not an expensive brand. But it might not be that one.

A woman who was left in a serious condition following a suspected attempted murder has died.

A 37-year-old woman from the Ipswich area was arrested yesterday on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection with the incident amd she was also taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

The pair have since been released on bail with conditions to return to the police on Friday, October 25.

Suffolk Police said a 37-year-old woman had also been arrested on Saturday on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

I'm surprised the press/news aren't making a bigger thing about a mother of 6 killed while walking her dog. (Not that it makes any difference how many kids she had but you know what the press are like)
Shocked he's been released on bail too.
