Judge orders retrial for teacher accused of murdering her boyfriend
The 14-week trial of Fiona Beal (left), 49, who is accused of killing her long-term partner Nick Billingham (right), 42, on November 1, 2021, was halted yesterday for legal reasons.www.dailymail.co.uk
"Halted for legal reasons"
What does it exactly mean?
What kind of legal reasons?

I've been checking for updates too, can't find anything. Perhaps they are waiting for a hearing with the judge to set the trial date? I hope it's not too far away, like next year.Still no news about the new trial. Any idea why that might be @Tortoise ?

It looks like that the prosecution didn’t accept her diminished responsibility plea.I don't understand why there is a trial.
Didn't this person confess?
Wasn't there a plea deal of some kind?
