No it's not. You can clearly make out the sleeves are from the jacket and the gilet is over the top.
Look at this image No 3 from the rear taken from the Dreaded DM

I can't see any difference between the sleeve area and the body area in texture or colour
Looks to me like a standard GorTex winter ski type breathable outside jacket - longer than waist I'd agree
The colour contrast of the red tail lights on the car look OK so that the suggests the blue colour is accurate.
Oh yes and leggings not jeans

<modsnip - off topic>

I'm sure that forensics would have picked up her footwear and tracked it and I'm doubtful an abduction could have taken place due to the witnesses and lack of other evidence however if she really did go in the water it seems she'd have been found by now - it's quite some distance from the sea?!

<modsnip> Quite often bodies are found close to the point of entry.

I'm not entirely convinced she's in the river, but believe it is more likely than any other possibility. The river doesn't look hugely deep or fast, seen on my laptop & phone, but I'm 100 miles+ away and have never been there, so trust the police and other people who say it is treacherous

I apologise for repeating myself, but I think she called Willow to come back so she could pop the harness on, the dog refused, so she put her phone on the bench, whilst grabbing Willow. She held the harness, but for some reason Willow wasn't co-operating, so she threw the harness towards the bench. I believe throwing the harness made her topple into the water. As I've said before, try throwing something as far as you can and it's easy to topple backwards.

I'm not surprised Willow didn't follow her, as he knew it wasn't a game and probably because in cold weather he's not allowed in the water because it's too cold, too messy and he takes absolutely ages to dry.

Dogs react entirely differently in stressful and frightening situations. It wouldn't surprise me at all that he didn't go into the water too. What he did do, was to remain at the scene. He was waiting for her to come back. He would have been anxious and confused, trying to find her, but most dogs aren't geniuses. They live in the moment. If Nicola went into the water at point A, while he may have followed her a little way, it makes sense to him to wait for her at point A to return the way she left.

Leggings look BLUE IMO so does jacket

Having trouble keeping up so apologies if this has been mentioned but I can't believe it's taken this long to release the cctv footage of her. Also, the police kept referring to an 'ankle length' gilet. It comes to her knees in those pictures!
Yes. In my mind these photos or videos of her from that morning should have been released immediately, to trigger people’s memories from an actual visual rather than just a description, which has proven to be slightly inaccurate and caused confusion.

It was/is a missing person. “Have you seen this person…”, without showing us how she was dressed that day. I don’t understand.

The video has some really good shots of the area in question.

Yes.
I realised from the beginning footage that people walking the bridge are in full view of a very long row of houses.. Made me think that if somebody was stalking her they would have had no problem seeing her.
There is NO evidence she was stalked.
Or wasn't.

If that was the coat she was wearing for the walk I can't see how LE would possibly describe it as ankle length. It's quite clearly knee length. Especially when they were very specific about what people should look for.

They must have more up to date CCTV/footage. They may have their reasons for not releasing it, but something isn't adding up

I can’t help getting a feeling the phone was left at this bench in front of that sign on purpose as a deliberate pointer that she’s in the water ie throwing everyone off track of another possibility.
which is?

So glad Peter Faulding & his specialist rescue and underwater team are going up to help! There was a high profile case in the US last year where the police could not find a missing girl/car and a specialist volunteer dive & sonar team went to help and within a day found her. With Peter Faulding & team on the case it will be known for certain if she is in the river or not:(

The lack of cctv/street cam footage of her on the day is a concern for me. Not one photo or video of her yet released. They’re either not wanting to release it yet or they don’t have any. After all this time you’d think an actual photo/video would really help jog people’s memories.
Her photo is everywhere, front page of newspapers, headline news national TV and on Social media.

Yep, they should be there and started the search by tomorrow morning.

From police press conference:
Really important - but if friend‘s pic from the day is correct it was neither a waist length coat nor ankle-length gilet, surely? A gilet being sleeveless. I hope police clarify this.

The police description stated she wore another coat under the gilet. That is apparently waist length.
