Announcement from Official Coastguard Rescue Team FB page:

MISSING PERSON 26th Feb:

Tasked this morning to search for a missing person in Millisle. Once on scene we conducted a shoreline search of the area and Lagoon with the Bangor Coastguard Rescue Team.

Other areas were being searched by Search Dog Max, Community Rescue Service Belfast and PSNI. Early this afternoon the female was found and transported to hospital by ambulance.

Police and the family of Nicola Steele are concerned about her welfare. Nicola is currently missing and was last seen at around 10:30am on 12/03/19 down the Ards Peninsula and we believe she may still be in or around this area.

If you have any information to help us locate her or see Nicola or her vehicle, please call 101 ref 987 12/03/19.

Nicola is currently driving a Blue Ford with the registration number WJZ6528 as seen in the picture below.

Nicola is currently missing and was last seen at around 10.30am on March 12 down the Ards Peninsula.

Police believe that Nicola may still be in or around the Ards Peninsula area. Police are appealing for anyone with information about Nicola or her vehicle to please call 101 ref 987 12/03/19.

I know 46 is very young to have dementia, but could she? Or any other undiagnosed illness where she become confused?

Her previous incident points to that something might be happening to her. I really hope they find her again, and rather very soon.

I was actually thinking the same, especially if she had a head injury when she previously went missing and was found injured/disorientated..
