Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing man Osman Bozdag from Ipswich.

36 year old Osman Bozdag was last seen on Norwich Road at 9.30pm on Saturday 7 January and has not been seen since.

Osman is described as male, of a medium height and build, with short black hair and stubble. He was last seen wearing a black hooded top with black tracksuit bottoms and black 'Sketcher' trainers.

It is believed he is driving a black VW Polo - registration number SK66 WGC.

Officers are concerned for Osman’s welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him or who has any information on where he may be to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 3 of 8 January 2023.

The 36-year-old was last seen in Norwich Road at about 9.30pm on Saturday and has not been seen since.

Officers now believe that Mr Bozdag could be driving a black Volkswagen Polo with the registration number SK66 WGC.

Mr Bozdag who owns the Chantry fish and chip shop Codfellas has been described as medium height and build, with short black hair and stubble.

Police have described the disappearance of Ipswich fish and chip shop owner Osman Bozdag as "completely out of character".

Mr Bozdag, commonly known as Ozzie, was last seen in the Norwich Road area at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said that locating the 36-year-old is one of the force's priorities and that officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to find him.

This includes digital enquiries, searching the Ipswich area, checking with nearby hospitals and the ambulance service and scanning CCTV footage.
