What does he mean by 'stop her going into the house'? How would this stop her going into the house? Is he claiming she wasn't in the house at all? I'm confused.

So how was he going to explain a stunned and handcuffed kidnapped Becky in the car? Presumably he was going to drive away from the house with SH, his child and Becky with him if his plan is to be believed? Even if Becky was put in the boot, she could have made a noise and at some point NM would have had to have removed her from the boot, and take her where?

I think the drain cleaner he used is mostly sulphuric acid which gives off a lot of sulphurous, smelly fumes and I guess exposure to them wouldn't be recommended in pregnancy

Which would somewhat explain why he felt the need to kill her after she saw his face as he had already attacked her, but still. Surely she would've recognised him by height and build.
