I wonder if he made up the kidnap story, thinking it would make people think he was a good son, just looking out for his poor old mum, against this apparently selfish, greedy and nasty teenager? Would he think that he'd get credit for trying to get Becky to treat his mum better?

I don't believe a word of it, just trying to work out why such a bizarre story would be used, when it clearly doesn't add up.

Could be he just made up the reason for the kidnap. The change in parking habits where he reversed onto the drive does make it look like he was planning to put something/one in the boot without being seen.

Did you have a conversation with SH about Becky being in the hse? I don't remember having a conversation about her.

NM Says had no reason to go upstairs, only goes up if someone calls for BW or his mum asks to check etc.Pretty sure he didn't go upstairs.

Says he thinks door to hall was closed so he wouldn't be able to see into the hallway from living room.Kept shut until mum came home.
 
Important to remember guys that the interviews we're hearing at the moment are from before Becky's body was found, so it's very likely he changed his story after that.

Still laughing at 'Meterosexual Neanderthal' ... he obviously doesn't know what the former really means.

Also, I'm obviously not down with the kids enough but could someone explain to me what 'gat' is?

On its own, this statement gives the impression that SH killed Becky!

Along with his next comment: "How long was it SH wasn't with you in the living room?Roughly about 20mins"

Says didn't call up to Becky and let her know they were there. Majority of time says wouldn't call up to say they were there
