It's OT but I'm fuming as I watch the Secret Millionaire UK series. Such a disgusting waste of lives and potential, so much misery and hopelessness

Being from the area, I really though that episode of the Secret Millionaire was exaggerated, almost scraping the barrel. It made New Addington look a million times worse than what it is.

In reality - the shows producers got the line to visit South London, for the whole post 2011 riots angle. They researched council estates in the area and couldn't really find an angle - but one place stuck out - New Addington. It attracted the producers because it has an active community clasp, the place has an intrinsic sense of pride. A great place to find a story really. People who are proud to be working class and live together in an almost socialist-like segregated society.

New Addington was recently named the most affordable place in London, and you have the good with the bad really. The top of New Addington(where the parade and shops are), has its share of mortgaged homes, small businesses and community spirirt, But the lower bit of the estate, Fieldway (CS home), is more of a Labour Government sponsored petri-dish.

Plenty of my school friends from 'Addo' now have blue collar jobs, education, homes etc. There are worse places.

The Eva Rausing case. They decided she had died of natural causes. He covered her body with various bedcovers and I think possibly a plastic bag too, but they believed him when he said he just didn't want to part with her.

I think in the Jo Yeates case it was difficult to prove whether some of the bruising was caused pre or post mortem.

Black bed sheets make me think of the image of seedy brothels.

No, I don't, soozie. I was just being picky - because another poster said that she "could not have wrapped herself in bin bags and put herself in the loft so it cannot be natural causes." The reasoning is false, that's all.

Young people do die from natural causes - it's not uncommon to hear of teenagers dying suddenly from unsuspected heart defects. It happened to a friend of mine. But if something like this had happened to Tia out of the blue, there would be no reason not to call an ambulance of course.

Affordable why? , because they have to drop the prices just so they can sell, and then landlords buy them and let them out.

as i've said many times, i lived there, i hated it, i wouldn't wish the place on anybody, and i too have friends with very well paid jobs who came from there but they also got out as soon as they could.

methadone is only used for heroin withdrawal i have never heard of it being used for anything else.SH looks nothing like a heroin user,i have seen plenty up close and personal.

I've never been able to come up with a plausible scenario in which someone would make an accidental or natural death appear to be something much more sinister through cover up/disposal.

just pure speculation from me but could he have been afraid of them finding signs of abuse?

there are plenty of videos on youtube which use baby pigs as an example

its a lot easier to watch on there than it is to witness it first hand.

i'm not going to post any links as i'm sure you can find them by yourselves.

I feel very sorry for people who have bought a place on the estate as all this publicity is going to devalue their properties further.Nurses ,teachers and others who have struggled to buy their own property and could not afford any where else.

Hey everyone,

I've been following the case of poor Tia from the beginning but I've only just got round to signing up and going through all the posts. There is just something so strange and out of place in this case. IMO, I don't think that SH deliberately murdered TS in cold blood. I believe *IF* he was the main culprit in her death, that it was accidental and like has been previously said, maybe he panicked etc. But then again, people surprise you and I could be wrong. It's just my gut feeling. However, I don't get good vibes off CS at all, something is telling me she is *FAR* more involved than we could imagine.

I think there is a lot more to come of this story, and it will most probably take some shocking turns.

I'm not sure to be honest, there are a lot of theories on here, other sites etc that are completely plausible IMO. I feel maybe something is being overlooked with her. It's just nagging me!
