It would make sense, if the perp had taken their own life, that Police have not released a name yet.

Usually after a pic of a wanted has gone out Police normally release a name as soon as they know imo.
The online live reports still mention him being at large. I think if a body had been found it would have been mentioned by now .

I wonder if they've found further body parts hence the private ambulance
I imagine that even if there were small pieces of bone or flesh the police would treat them with dignity and use a private ambulance to transport them . It could also be that other parts were found in the flat. According to neighbours the flat was visited by the police in the early hours of the morning. The arrival of the private ambulance has been stated in the media to have been around 6:30 pm. I think if a body was found in the flat then the ambulance would have been called earlier.

Presumably they have been gathering as much evidence as fast as possible: checking the phone logs of whoever called the taxi, using the witnesses’ account to look for CCTV that might give the reg of the car that the cases were bring unloaded from, maybe other undisclosed evidence. They will presumably highlight platform-trainer guy because that is the evidence where public knowledge can help, but keep everything else out of the public eye.

For all we know, this shambolic crew may have left their luggage labels from their last trip on the cases.

Meanwhile I am fascinated that here in the UK we are being urged not to approach the suspect. Yeah right: who exactly would approach a butchering double murderer ?
Random members of the public chased Richard Ramirez halfway across LA and beat him in the street because they printed his picture on the front page and named him as the suspect in the Night Stalker killings. And he killed a minimum of fifteen people.

People get angry and want to do something about it, and will put themselves at risk.

Also, doppelgangers do exist! Perfectly innocent people have been assaulted by people appointing themselves as vigilantes.

So yes, it is entirely necessary to tell people not to do the thing, even when - especially when - that person is suspected of very brutal murders.

MOO

Not sure, they might need to do a lot of forensic work before removal. Waiting for specialist services or something.

True!

It's contactless these days and although it may say it's manned 24/7 I haven't physically seen it manned in recent times. Not to say it's not, just that if you don't have to go to the toll house (which you only need to do it you can't use contactless) you would be none the wiser that there's anyone there. Or maybe I'm just unobservant! The bridge is usually patrolled at night by the amazing Suicide Prevention Bristol team though who are much more visible.

wow I wish we had that kind of care on bridges here

Met Police
We continue our investigation following the discovery of human remains in Bristol.

We need your help to find 24-year-old Colombian national Yostin Andres Mosquera.

While searching a flat in Scotts Road, W12 on Friday, 12 July, officers found human remains which are in the process of being sensitively removed. Additional post-mortem examinations will be arranged as soon as possible.

At this early stage, officers believe that the remains are connected to the human remains found in Bristol, and that there are still two male victims.

Officers believe they know the identity of the two men, although formal identification is yet to take place. Enquiries continue to locate and inform their next of kin.

Both victims are thought to have been known to Mosquera and the Met is appealing for information on his whereabouts.

Are you speaking from your own experience?
Just the in sleuthing other cases (and not suitcases) where people wondered how a body fit in X container and it pretty much came down to "It depends on how it is arranged". And I suppose "If it is complete", because that has happened a few (too many) times, too.

So still 2 victims, the remains at the London flat are parts of them? Absolutely horrific. I hope they find those responsible soon, IMO this is part of OC activity.

It kind of feels that way, but I’m not sure any of this can really be described as ‘organised’.

Obviously there’s a tragic and horrific story behind it, but it’s almost comical. What’s the plan here? Transport two bodies in suitcases from London to Bristol for some reason and somehow, take a taxi to the city’s best known landmark which is also a 24 hour toll bridge teeming with CCTV, and… throw them 250 ft into a river in a fairly busy area on the night of a massive football game everyone was watching so up late? Without Googling to check the bridge doesn’t have a massive fence making it impossible anyway? Absolutely no chance any of this causes a scene, wonderful plan.

I agree. MOO but the suspect is Colombian, and Colombia is a big exporter of cocaine. Plenty of demand for cocaine in the UK. I'd bet a modest sum of money that this is not a coincidence.
