That is really horrible and irresponsible reporting! Geez.

I've been saying all along that I don't think LE has much more than what we've seen. What they have is still enough for a murder conviction, IMO.
I understand what you are saying and I am sure emotions will run high about this if it proves to be true-BUT this may be one of the concessions for a deal that is now in place and little Caylee will be recovered...JMO
I don;t think it is YET.Actually I am pleased to read the Death Penalty is off the table.
Bingo. I bet that's our next newsflash.
They changed the original news article. It first said the DP was off the table and has since been changed to claim they're still looking at it.
I think the new defense atty is talking to KC and trying to get her to accept a deal. He seems to have more brains than Baez.
I don;t think it is YET.
i never thought she would get the DP anyways. I have no problem with her doing three life sentences.
   :clap:Expert witnesses will tie together the evidence and forensics to prove this element.
Computer searches for chloroform handles this element, and that's the first that comes to mind.
Simple element to prove: there couldn't be any justification for killing one's own child, could there? Insofar as accident, well, Casey's had a lot of time to try to make that known, but she didn't, so who would believe her now?
Simple element: the abuse and neglect charges for which she was first arrested.
The totality of the circumstances here will prevail.

They changed the article.
It did say:
"Prosecutors: No Death Penalty For Casey Anthony
Source: Not Enough Aggravating Factors To Make Case
POSTED: 3:57 pm EST November 6, 2008
Prosecutors say they do not have enough evidence to seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, WESH 2 News learned on Thursday.
A source at the Orange-Osceola State Attorneys Office told WESH 2 News reporter Bob Kealing on Thursday that prosecutors have decided there are not enough "aggravating factors" to pursue the death penalty."
Now it says:
"Casey Death Case Hard To Make At This Time
Aggravating Factors Required To Get Death Sentence
POSTED: 3:57 pm EST November 6, 2008
UPDATED: 4:52 pm EST November 6, 2008
Prosecutors say they dont know if they have enough evidence to seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, WESH 2 News learned on Thursday.
A spokesman at the Orange-Osceola State Attorneys Office told WESH 2 News reporter Bob Kealing on Thursday that prosecutors have not taken the death penalty off the table, because the case is still developing and they hope to find Caylees body.
Randy Means of the state attorneys office said there are doubts there are enough aggravating factors to get the death penalty at this time."
They changed the title and added the part about death penalty has not been taken off the table.
Willie Crane is on death row with no body found. There is a grandfather in Florida that the jury recommended death for, never found his daughter's body. It makes me ill.
If the State can't prove their "this" on some level then yes, she'll be acquitted and walk.
The Evidence just isn't there.
They changed the article. So, it's not off the table.
But Randy Means of the state attorneys office said there are doubts they have enough aggravating factors to get the death penalty at this time.
