Idaho couple believes body found in Little Cottonwood Canyon is their son

John Ehlers was notified by Unified Police on Wednesday that there may be a connection between the remains and the case of his son, 48-year-old Corry Ehlers, who disappeared in May 2012.

“They feel pretty sure that this is Corry,” Ehlers said. “They found his Costco card with his picture on it, and then they found his American Express card.”

ST. GEORGE, Utah - The parents of a missing St. George man are pleading for information about their son’s whereabouts. The 25 year old went missing last year, and he hasn’t been seen since.

Joshua Easley was last seen in North Ogden. His parents, Lucinda and David Martin, said he vanished with almost no trace. And that’s been the hardest part, not having the answers to their looming questions.

November 22nd: ID of missing St. George man found among remains recovered in Weber County

Police had originally stated the badly decomposed body would not be identified until a medical examiner got involved, but later Sunday they stated the ID of missing man Joshua Easley was found among the remains.

[SUP]FOX 13 News' Robert Boyd reports authorities believe the body may have been in that location for several months. Police stated the body is too badly decomposed to be identified by sight, so, while the presence of Easley's ID indicates it is him, it will ultimately be up to a medical examiner to make formal positive identification.[/SUP]

Investigators may never know what happened to Joshua Easley. "Easley, an Ogden native, was identified by dental records, but state crime lab reports were otherwise inconclusive, said Weber County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Lane Findlay. “There were no obvious signs of trauma,” he said. “The cause of death could not be determined.”"
