Prosecutors charged a Utah man with murder Friday, alleging he killed his adult daughter, a Salt Lake County sheriff’s deputy.

Thanks for starting this thread. I saw Marbella's story this morning.

Sadly, yet another female dead due to domestic violence (her dad). As @LadyL said, so creepy. I hope the father will be found and extradited back to the US.

they said undisclosed country - I wonder why they wouldn't publish the country

Still waiting when that brat will be found and extradited to the US to be tried here.
R.I.P., Marbella, beautiful soul.

So sad, and creepy indeed.

I wonder if he had been abusing her -- the stalking, hoarding of her underthings and frantic jealous texting suggest something of the sort, whether fantasy or realized. Blech.

Police described text messages that Martinez received from her father as “more of the nature of a jealous lover than a father.” Authorities also cited more disturbing incidents involving Martinez’s father and how he allegedly behaved toward his adult child.

ewww article says in addition to underthings he was collecting her used hygiene products. I hope they are able to locate and extradite this man for his crimes.
