I know what it weighs, My brother just redid his home and I helped him.. I could not pick any of the drywall. It is heavy AND awkward.

This woman is trying to push Rachel to say something she does not mean..

STOP..

Had he stepped INTO the tub he could have removed her!

Of course the woman was not feeling well. She just had her face done.. Of course she had a headache.. Another common reaction to a face lift..

WHAT DOES THIS MATTER?

I don't think that matters. They know she is testifying for the prosecution. That she hates her father for all He has done is really quite normal.

There is nothing to cloud judgment here. This man killed his wife, made a huge show for everyone, With all the testimony of the first responders it is obvious he was staging things..

I don't think anyone likes him. That someone would hate him for killing his mother, bringing in his mistress, trying to send the kids away...
I think is normal.

bbm

Yes, that's my point. The jury is there to decide whether or not he killed her, they are not gonna take it as a given yet. So they could take the viewpoint that the daughters subsequently thought he killed her, and so are seeing his actions surrounding the murder in a clouded judgement.

This is not my opinion, I'm just trying to think how it comes across to the jury, who have not formed their opinions yet on whether or not he killed her, and who are probably under the impression that that is their whole job in this case and that their job is to not cloud their judgement.

Yeah doesn't nausea translate into "sick?" They're trying to lay foundation that Michele's nausea was due to her medication I think.

I wonder if there were any pill fragments when she vomited? Anyone know?

Hmm I saw someone ask somewhere else "Who turned the water off to the bathtub?" That is a very, very good question. If Michele was supposedly preparing a bath and fell in, why was the water not running when Ada and MM first found her, it's not mentioned at all... ??

ohhhhh good point!!!!!

Haven't seen that mentioned :( I wish we could see the discovery in this case :(

That and what the contents of her stomach was at the time.
Too bad the ME wasn't able to know that.
It might have changed things.
IMO

The defense should like her blood comment - since MacNeill said 'there was blood everywhere'.....

I think it is granted they would feel this way. I don't see it any different in any other trial. I would expect her to hate her father. It would not make a difference in the actual testimony to me. Just as I expect defense witnesses to come off as sympathetic.

He probably put food coloring in the tub!
Where was she "bleeding from "?
I know she had a white shirt on. Was it red/ tinted pink? From the blood?

Defense's voice is low and impatient. Also several big sighs after the mother didn't feel well question.......now something about a migrane. refreshing witness's memory on past testimony........

When you arrived home April 7, mistake.....April 11, 2007....were there people coming neighbors?......yes.....another question.....yes....

Went right to bedroom to see your dad.......wanted to see if he was ok.......he was sitting on the couch and was just something I didn't understand........

Father distraught.......yes........that moment he was depressed.....that moment he appeared depressed.....that moment he was crying.....yes.....he stated your mom was my rock......objection...sustained......

demonstration at the tub....mentioned your dad had mentioned your mom's feet were sticking out of the tub......you said that at the prelimonary hearing.....yes....

talk about the towels in the garage.....seperate piles or seperate.....all wadded up.....decorative towels that were in the bathroom, stuffed animals, a big pile thrown in the garage.....

the clothes were in the pile with t he towels.....everything was just a big bloody mess......

wasn't it true that there was not a lot of blood just a little.....witness says she is not good with blood......with the blood and everything being wet......shaking her head.....

witness has head on her hand now......lawyer approaches witness......doug witney....about the blood.......reading about the pile of clothes.....shaking head and holds hand in air......explains again she is not good at seeing blood, makes her sick, blood is not something I like to see, no no not mother's blood..........

Question about washing the pile of clothes....what time......a day later....on the day of the mom's death......took them out and dried them.....then what did you do with them.....put them in a bag.....the same things as you witnessed today.......now going through each thing......

handed over the bag a couple years later.....witness not sure of the date.....witness kept them until they were turned over.......they were never placed back in the garage (this is important for who had control of evidence)
