Is it just me or didn't the neighbors say that the backyard bonfire smelled "horrid"? I believe he wanted to do the necklacing, he's that evil. My husband was NG infantry and his unit was deployed. He is out now, but his brother is in the same unit and he will be deployed again next year.

My cousin was in MN NG and did two tours of duty in Iraq. Depends on the unit.

The welfare check, requested by her father, was not done until THURSDAY. Thus, all the thousands of posts asking why it took so long to report her missing (3 days with no contact).

I think this may be rumour. I have read most articles etc relating to this case and never heard this before.

Edited apparently someone got the timeline wrong. Kenzie’s father did not request welfare check until Thursday.

My understanding is that Dad did report her missing but it was four days afterwards. JMO

I'm thinking bad things if the DA is going to be there and they have not located her alive. Possible announcement of charges - kidnapping, murder? without a body? I don't think the DA would be present unless they are going to discuss the charges IMO

Maybe she was supposed to text them again once she got to her home. When she didn’t, that would have raised a red flag.

It is also possible to share your ride with someone so maybe she did that and her parents got concerned when the ride didnt end at her home.
