The child lives with his biological mother now, but we don't know the history, if he or the family has had CPS involvement or foster care history.

Just an acronym query from a country without police in schools... I thought it was School Resource Officer - SRO.
Everyone is saying RSO through the last few pages, which I thought was the WS acronym for a Registered Sex Offender.
Is there something else RSO stands for or are people just muddled? I'm confused.
MOO
Emphasis mine.OK my fellow sleuthers, help me out here. What is the significance of the comment below:
“A former Richneck parent, Steve Carrington, told News 3's Kelsey Jones that he was happy to hear about the indictment.
"If it had been anyone else, they would have been charged," he said. "It should have happened a while ago, but I'm glad it happened."”
Families react after mom of 6-year-old boy who shot Richneck teacher indicted

“If it had been anyone else ??!!”
Or she's just some kind of perennial troublemaker who causes problems wherever she goes?Emphasis mine.
Holy heck.
Is the mother related to or friends with the school admin. ?
This isn't the first time I've wondered that, either !!
My spell checker changes SRO to RSO. Clearly, I talk about RSO's too often. It's SRO -- School Resource Officer.
RSO is Registered Sex Offender which is what I kept thinking whenever I read it, before I quickly remembered they just meant SRO.
Yes. Agree.Emphasis mine.
Holy heck.

Is she a troublemaker? Are there links to this information? I haven’t been around and I’m not sure if I missed anything.Or she's just some kind of perennial troublemaker who causes problems wherever she goes?
@YepperBepperMy spell checker changes SRO to RSO. Clearly, I talk about RSO's too often. Apologies. Again. For being foolish.
I'm curious how this boy treats his own mother. Does she live in fear of him? and if so what recourse does she have?

I took the Dad’s comment as referring to the fact that it was probably well known that she is the parent of a child with what sounds to me like a profound mental health disability.
Thanks, the article has the entire complaint filed. I'll say AZs attorneys have clearly outlined at least 3 laws broken, per VA Code. From Ms. Zwerner’s complaint— :
“Assistant Principal Parker’s lack of response to Plaintiff’s concerns on the day of the shooting was consistent with her reputation among teachers. She was well known by teachers working in Newport News to ignore and downplay concerns expressed by teachers, and to demean teachers working in schools in which she was an administrator. Teachers expressed similar concerns about her administrative style when she was an Assistant Principal at Newsome Park Elementary School in Newport News. Oftentimes students who were sent to Assistant Principal Parker for discipline as a result of unruly or violent behavior would return to the classroom bragging about candy they had received from Assistant Principal Parker. In short, Assistant Principal Parker’s administrative style was to permit students to engage in dangerous and disruptive conduct and impose no consequence for breaking the rules, thereby placing all persons in the vicinity of the school and in the community at risk.”
Teacher shot by first grader blames school for permissive treatment of student with 'history of violence': Lawsuit
"Essentially, this child was a ticking time bomb on school property and the administration chose to ignore the problem," an attorney for teacher Abigail Zwerner said.lawandcrime.com
