I find it interesting she doesn't say anything about that truck when she's interviewed here...... 15 seconds of fame?

https://twitter.com/JoeFisherTV/status/586224541464137729

I have found that a lot of the news stations cut or cut up their interviews a lot to leave off pieces and then air them later so I don't know what pieces were part of what interviews. I think they also did that in WH's first jailhouse interview that JF did with him.

'Help get things going' by framing a local teen?

If he really thought that teen was involved. I didn't say it was a smart plan. There are 2 things that I'm absolutely certain of in this case 1) AJ was not surrounded by geniuses and 2) JH had really, really bad taste in men.

So...you think Wes broke into Texty's house and really found her jacket in the sofa cushion? And then moved it in order to make the evidence "come to light" ? Not being at all snarky. Genuine question. I'd like to hear your thoughts on that.

JMO
I think he broke into Textys house and left the jacket there to make it appear Texty is the suspect.
Only thing is he got caught.
Now remember Wasn't it JH that told him about the jacket being found in Textys house.

Nothing makes any sense.

I seen it too! It was the day Mr. Potts was on the air, the day they found her. It was an African American woman standing on her front porch. They showed her again in a later news segment but I never seen the portion that mentions the white truck again. I can't find a link to it either.

Wonder if they (she/LE/Wavy) determined she was mistaken maybe?
Or if LE knew that information already and wanted to hush it.
Or maybe LE didn't know and when they found out wanted to keep it quiet.

ETA: Thanks for the links everyone!

There is actually another video of one of the news channels interviewing a relative that owns the house as well. It was only showed one time. I am going through my DVR to see if I can find it. I thought I had recorded it but I can't find it online either. I think sometimes they only show repeats of what is shocking or something that is important.

I don't want to answer for vasportsmom but there has been a ton of media coverage regarding AJ's biodad, her ex-stepdad, and her dad (WH) but none of it really pertains to her being missing and now deceased. The discussions have taken precedence over AJ herself. When it comes down to it Wes was AJs legal father, where is the motive for him to kill her?

ETA: and looks like vasportsmom already replied, so ignore me

I don't think there is a 'motive' when it is a drug fueled passion/rage killing. I think it is more impulsive and spontaneous--like a lack of self control---from a drug induced, and bipolar mania cycle. One of those ugly times where everything comes together to make the perfect monstrous storm. JMO

I am going to qualify this post with... I know I'm reaching here, k?

I can't shake off that 'when she saw me last' quote of WH's.
I was thinking about how he seems to need to be in control, and how his words show that he may view people as possessions.

Then I was thinking about he was recently separated from AJ's mom, and the possibility that she and her mom fought the last time they saw each other.

I know it's come up that perhaps he killed AJ to hurt JH, and I find myself wondering if there may be some truth to that.

Because AJ saw HIM last, her mother will always have fighting with AJ as their last moments together. If that fight happened, I can't imagine how awful that must be for her.

I wonder if it was edited out because of this. At the bottom of this article it says that LE was lead there because of their investigation.

http://www.tidewaternews.com/2015/04/10/body-found-in-southampton-county-identified-as-a-j-hadsell/
In the article you link to Detective Camden Cob is quoted as saying Mr. Potts didn't see a blue dodge caravan nor did he report it to the police.
So was it the other neighbor who called the police about having seen the white truck in the driveway?

I wonder about that too. It's possible they were fishing just because, it's possible they were fishing due to his history, it's also possible someone gave them info, or they found something (maybe an electronic trail?) that gave them that idea.

According to him, LE suggested that this was the reason he hooked up with JH to begin with! It's strange to me that he would bring that up, it was totally unsolicited information. He brings it up, and then he doesn't deny it, he just says that 'everybody that knows me I would pray knows better than that'. Ugh.

Notice that he also laughs when he says this.

I believe that is what he said in the interview with that girl we can't talk about.
BBM:
WH: But lets just say I asked, they showed me a few pictures of stuff that was found I really couldn’t tell if it was my daughter’s stuff. It was just generic stuff that could be anybody’s. But they didn’t show me a picture of the jacket. I said: wait a minute, my wife told me you found my daughters jacket...

Did any of you see the Joe Fisher news interview on WAVY 10 it was the 4 p.m. news, I have it recorded on my DVR, where the lady neighbor that lives in the trailer nextdoor to the house AJ was found that she said she saw a white truck 2 times in that driveway but saw it about 7 times in total, one of the times was the day after AJ disappeared.

AND, we all know who drives a white Truck! It's even in pictures of the families statements.

This is pure speculation on my part - it's based partly on JH's past behavior so not completely out of left field but speculation nevertheless.

I was wondering if WH got a notion in his head - real or imagined - that JH was about to move on to a new man and he became agitated over possibly losing his family. We know from his past behavior that he doesn't take rejection well and we know from his current charges that he's not afraid to threaten or intimidate people nor is he concerned about keeping within the law.

It's a bit of a stretch to imagine WH escalating into violence over a separation but not so much if he was afraid he was being thrown over for a new man. Again, this is speculation.

When his last wife attempted to leave him he reacted violently and bizarrely. She was too afraid to even testify against him for a trial but she did testify to the Grand Jury which indicted him. She testified that he had strangled her, punched her, raped her and kidnapped her.

It is really hard for me to look past that extreme behavior on his part. THAT^^^ was how he reacted when his ex attempted to divorce him.

So now we have a situation where he is met with the same circumstances. He is separated and once again in danger of losing his wife and his girls. He has relapsed on hard drugs and is living in a seedy hotel. It would not take much to set him off, imo.

So now we have a white car, black van, and a white van? Possibly a work van?

But, doesn't she say white "truck"?? Big difference between white truck and white van, IMO.

It could be along those lines. She could have called him for help because she didnt want to stay at her moms?

After watching those videos and them talking about the police had been out there on Wednesday before they found AJ maybe that brown decking was where those steps were and she might have been under that deck and they had to remove that decking to get her out and collect evidence. That might explain why they had to go back.

If JH was the victim here then I would absolutely agree with you. I can't make AJ fit into that slot though.

My only concern here is that it wasn't JH that went missing and turned up dead, it was his daughter. The past accusations have been regarding his violence towards spouse or girlfriend. I understand trying to see a pattern to behavior, but getting a divorce from JH would not effect his relationship with his daughter. She was an adult living at college. If he thought JH was going to keep him from his kids, the logical one to kill was his other child who is still a minor, not that that's logical, but a minor wouldn't have the freedom to visit parents at will like AJ.
