*Status Hearing (@ 9:30am ET) - VA – Cynthia Michelle Carver (34) (last seen Feb. 21, 2019 by babysitter ~9pm, Newsoms; reported missing Feb. 22, 2019, found Mar. 19, 2019, off Wyanoke Trail in southwestern Suffolk) – *James Herbert Goodwyn, Jr. (39/now 44) arrested & charged (6/27/19) & arraigned (4/2/20) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Southampton County
Trial was set to begin on 5/1/23 continued on 10/16/23 was continued on 7/22/24 & continued with no further dates.
