Teaser on Fox News says, pertaining to this case, showing a brown evidence bag, ". . . and we now have reason to arrest him."
For now . . . That's all folks.

Because of reckless driving?

I don't think so ~ because they showed the brown bag and that couldn't have anything to do with driving.

Still haven't aired anything on Fox yet. :dunno:

There have been a ton of posts here on this forum discussing that there have mainly just been nice things written about the POI on the internet.

If I had negative feelings of a POI in a missing persons case who was still out and about - the LAST thing I'd do is write something bad about them on the internet or talk to the press. Doing so puts oneself in danger- physical retaliation by the POI or friends or legal retaliation if POI is found innocent. And who knows what kind of sickos follow these things-- one might make themselves a target for a sicko following the case.

IMO, if I had negative feelings about a POI in such a case I'd disclose it only to the police and close friends and family out of concern for my own personal safety.

Agreed. Example, Brianna Denison case. Everyone thought he was just a "normal guy". People came forward saying they would leave their kids alone with him. Everyone, his live in girlfriend included, was surprised it was him.

But it could have a lot to do with stirring up hype to get/ keep viewers...

I've been having an uneasy feeling all morning that when they find J. Matthew, he may not be in the shape they were hoping for.

He seems like the type that would vow to never be taken alive...........

He's out there.........somewhere........apparently in his sisters Nissan. No public sightings, No trooper sightings.

Something feels wrong.

Yeah. I've been mentally wandering & wondering down that track since Sunday's PC.

Oh, I am too old to know exactly what that means. But is it as bad as it sounds?

Nah. Journalistic hyperbole & attempt for ratings grab, IMHO.

They won't have anything new, I'll wait for a presser to be announced.

Just quickly about Temp and their hours...
Tempo is more of a restaurant then it is a bar. They serve dinner from 5-10 daily. Kitchen stays open till 10pm. The bar stays open till 1am give or take...but if its busy they stay open till 2am...the time when you legally have to stop serving alcohol in VA. At 1am the restaurant would be closed but the bar still open.
Hopefully that clears some stuff up.

Exactly. And I'd take it one step farther and say I wouldn't talk to the media or publicly about any case or potential crime. Police: yes, public: no!

JMO but going 35 with a posted speed limit of 15 IS putting someones life in danger in C-Ville...especially on some of those roads.

Ever notice how some exit and entry ramps have speed limits way lower than navigable, while when others say 20 mph they MEAN 20 mph max.?

Certain parts of C-Ville are like that with winding roads, steep hills and embankments and sharp curves.
I'm very familiar with C'Ville. My dad has lived there over 25 years.
But seriously? You don't think it's ridiculous to say he endangered his mother's life without even knowing the circumstances? That seems incredibly presumptuous to me, and far fetched.

I would hope he wouldnt endanger her life on purpose.I like to think that even serial killers love their parents since they were the ones who brought them into this world, have cared for them and given them half of their DNA. Also because Im a mommas boy and always will be :-)

On the other hand JLMs actions havent exactly been those of a sane and sober person recently IMO.

Contingency of what?

Right now the story does not seem to have much to it. No book deal unless he turns to be a serial killer with a bizarre story of life.

I don't see many dollars in this right now

Yep..what happens if the case is never solved? Or Jesse is arrested, and there is zero doubt about his guilt? What if a gag order is issued? Is it still going to be a big story a year from now? Very few cases are.

Just a little PSA: You can click on another user's name and then ignore their messages via their profile. That way you can choose not to view anything they say, you know if it is causing you problems and making you feel like you might want to engage in unproductive conflict. I can tell you it's made my own personal experience of discussing this case much more tolerable.

Someone else will have to take over the Fox watch. I have real life errands that I can't postpone any longer. Will check back here as soon as I return (as usual, lol).

I guess we'll have to wait and see if they decide to give us the details of the reckless driving charge. I sure wish they would.

I think if he was doing something that was scaring her, she put a stop to it pretty quickly. Southern moms don't play. ;)

I have to say, I am a bit perplexed that so many on this thread are reluctant to consider JM as suspect #1 due to lack of evidence, yet the same people have no problem expressing their suspicions about WG, who in my opinion, has even less evidence pointing to him as the perp.

A lot of venom for the WG, when he waited on hold to tell his sighting to a TIP line, and then drove to the Police station before the videos were released.

Yes, strange.

'

I do not think dogs would be of much use in JM car or apartment because of Popcorn. JM,Popcorn, and his aunt are probably together somewhere in Virginia trying to figure out how to get legal help for free.

That's why I hate FOX news, they will give a teaser, then 59 minutes later they talk about it, only to find out you've heard it all before! aaaargh!
