Gotta hope LE has gotten hold of any and all surveillance video then can get - surveillance video is what helped solve Mickey Shunick and Sierra Lamar abductions..

Lack of video for Kelli Bordeaux, Karen Swift, and Holly Bobo cases, and those go on unsolved..

How could someone could take a bed out without being noticed?
Not easy to do alone... Don't think I've ever seen a case in which something as large as a bed was removed by someone who was not actually living with victim.

Well that tells me the perp owns a truck or he rented one! He does have a military look. I looked at the RSO for newport news and hampton Roads area, but nothing showed. Going to go looking at dating sites for this area.

If he is military he is either Army or Air Force. Not many Navy are in Germany, mostly Army and Air force. FT Eustis and Langley AFB are the two major installations. I'm thinking he is actually Air Force which is a very scary thought for me.

Kathleen's apt is very close to the Northrup Grumman Shipyard ...like almost across the street..... and a lot of Navy guys live there when their ships are in for repair. I just can't imagine where he took her and her dog. IMHO he killed them and hide them. But where?

Neighbors told WAVY.com they were concerned for days before the investigation into Haley's disappearance began because of the mattress in the trash.

"The Tuesday before her mother had her reported, when I went to my car there was this foul odor and I kept saying, 'What is that odor? What is that odor?' and they said, 'It's the trash,' and I said, 'Well, the trash has not been dumped before and it didn't smell like that. It smelled like a dead rat, or a dead dog, or something, something dead was in that dumpster," Vanessa Santiful said.

The court documents list cleaning supplies found scattered about Haley's apartment including two pairs of rubber gloves found inside and outside the bathtub and one pair in the kitchen. It also listed Items of clothing in a basket with suspected blood on them including "white socks, one grey bra, and one grey long sleeved shirt."

The documents also show police pulled a paper towel out of "a bathroom trash can with suspected blood on it."

Roman is one of the people who checked on Haley days after his family last spoke with her. Police paperwork shows Haley's computer and bed are missing. Roman told police he checked the dumpsters and found the "box spring and mattress out there had holes cut in it..." and "it appears to be dried blood on the mattresses."

my gosh that document is just so terrible.....

some points:

she was 4 feet 11 inches. Her car was unlocked and the seat pushed all the way back. There was cardboard laid out in the back of the car. The pillow top was cut off the mattress. Her bike is missing as well. There are beer bottles in the sink and glasses with mold on them. The toilet seat was in the up position. There were several pairs of rubber gloves found. One pair was in the bathroom. She was to go to her sister's for dinner on the 1st but never went and also said she had plans for that night.

Much more in that document.

It would seem that it is possible she picked up the perp and he used her car to get rid of things and perhaps used her bike as a get away.

This is just terrible.

Strange they give no approximate age for this guy. You know, if the man modeling the T-shirts shaved and cut his hair, he could look similar. That man looked to be in his late 40's. imo

Bingo. The man modeling T-shirts is named Buck I think. Older man...bar owner or bartender. There ya go.

There were multiple pairs of gloves left...so IMO more than one person to help clean up if not involved. Don't let the possibility that a woman is involved slip by. She lived in a bad section of town, worked at a bar..and a go go bar on top of that...and undoubtedly drugs. We don't know if she was a dancer, bartender or waitress, etc, but her environments were conducive to crime. Bad enough to live there, but to come home after 2AM...very scary. I think she would be savvy enough to know not to bring someone strange into her place...especially at night....and especially a customer if she was dancing. I think T-shirt man should be looked at very closely. IMO. The little neighbor girl said she recognized the man and they argued all the time. So Kathleen knew this guy well and it was no stranger. IMO

It may have been the dog in the dumpster. The bad smell. Also that she may have been dismembered on the bed. Sorry. The mattress had cuts/holes in it.

The mattress and box spring could have been removed at night...and no one saw or heard it. But no way could they have done that by themselves...especially if she lived upstairs. imo

My son lives in NOVA. When I go visit I used 64 which passes Newport News, hit 95 and it goes right past Manassas. If someone were leaving the area and heading North they could definitely have stopped at Manassas.

Question for the NNPD? Why are we JUST finding all this out????? All this information should have been given to the public as soon as it was found (IMO). I think some people weren't very concerned when it was reported that she was missing. I mean, she's 37, lives on her own, doesn't give her family too much information about her personal life, etc. They probably all thought she just left of her own free will without telling anyone.

If her dog was killed and put in the dumpster wouldn't they have found him/her when they found the mattress etc. ?

I don't think it would be that difficult for a man to take a mattress downstairs by himself. I have moved several times on my own and have amazed myself at the amount of weight I can carry downstairs. Especially if this guy's adrenaline was going.

Quantico is is NOVA. Wonder if this guy might be a Marine?
