I saw that video of the three member band. IMO it looks like nothing more than a private get together between friends. I'd hardly call it a concert (like some are calling it) that would attract many people from the area.

And, since it did take place in Dec., wasn't the owners daughter living there then (in the particular house these band members were filmed)? I'm sure they've already questioned her by now about people who may have been to the home over the last several months. JMO.

They look like students to me but this may not be accurate cos it's filmed with very little light..I'm sure LE can brighten it up tho..I've seen it asked but not answered if the daughter has any kids..Odd if she doesn't unless she's just a nice person & allows the former UV students to attend these "concert/s" there like they had in the past? Maybe even the perp!

It seems to me it's called a "concert" cos the band is promoting itself on youtube.

Didn’t see the Find Morgan thread before the site went down. Is Long Haul the name of the group that performed at the Anchorage Farm? And, they traveled to Belle WV, Gainsville FL & Charlottesville VA? Who do you mean could be the groupie? What is Resistance Music, and how is Mountain Justice (an environmental group?) related?

These are just a few that I found. I am sure if someone were to take the time, they could maybe pinpoint a camera close to where Morgan was found. But, again, it seems she would have been seen at the JPJ arena, to me, or at least in a parking garage. How many parking garages nowadays don't have video? None. They all do. Maybe they do have a perp, but can't identify because of grainy video or can identify just don't know who it is and don't want to release it. .

That's a great idea. No cameras on US 29 south of 64, though there is one at Fountaine in C'ville.

Here's the thing though, wouldn't it be more efficient for LE just to talk to everyone and their mother who knows their POI and his behavior? They could search his phone records, work records, talk to his friends, family, coworkers, and ex-girlfriends to find out if their supposed POI was in the area that night, and if he knows the farm well.
Why hold a presser and ask for a hundreds of random tips from the public to come in and hope one or two are specifically related at their POI?

The perp would have had to drive RIGHT PAST the house to access that area. He knew they weren't there. IMO, that implies that he was so comfortable and close, he knew he could. You don't just drive around on someone's property...for instance, we have a very long drive and would know instantly if someone were driving on the property (dogs). He knew there would be no "alert" like that. Does this house on the property have motion sensor lights? That's important, imo. Ours go off at a very far distance.

Edited to add: Most properties have the typical "No Trespassing" signs up and locals know you could be shot for not heeding them...if the owner was that type. It's mostly to keep hunters off the properties, but still.

IMO, from what I've seen so far; and I'm not that far into it.. have to go shovel snow.. and will watch the rest.. but he appears to be looking at the locals to solve the case for them. I'm not sure they have much of anything except "location". They know this is a high profile case which is why they are probably keeping it in the news the way they are unlike some of the cases I follow, where location also should be a key; like Jody & Joe in my sig.

In the community I live in, there are a lot of woods; take my back yard; if you walk along my property line (I have woods on one side) into my back yard, you are able to walk to the next street; and a lot of yards are like this. In my old town we also had a lot of woods - very common for kids to cut through to go to the store or to a friends house.


BTW, thought I posted yesterday a suggestion about someone gathering links from the case & adding them to a blog; then add the blog link to your sig. The blog entry can be edited to add new links. If a new post is started, the blog info is easily copied into one of the 1st new posts.

Interesting. Neither of those maps shows any kind of camera on 29 south of Charlottesville, though there are several on 29N.

I don't think the killer or killers came through Mr. Bass' front property. There was no need since they were planning on putting her on the very backside of his property imo. I believe they accessed his property from the Blandemar Farm Subdivision side which made them only have to go a 100 feet into Mr. Bass' land,

I have seen enlarged google maps and it shows a direct path where tire tracks can been seen leading from an unoccupied home on the Blandemar side and the tracks lead directly toward where Morgan was found. Now the map isnt time sensitive but it does show that someone was going up and down that beatened path with a vehicle or may 4-wheeler before Morgan went missing. So someone has to know about that particular area and who frequents there but whether they will tell LE who has used this path,I am not certain.
