Hopefully they have a verdict but want to sleep on it!!!

I wonder if they are making good progress and figure they want an early night to get a bit more rest. I imagine if they were nowhere close to a verdict they wouldn't be asking for an early night.

Or maybe the juror that had the migraine isn't feeling so great.

Ironic there is is a black Dodge Ram behind them.

That is something isn't it?

I was so intent on the Bosmas and Sharlene's sister and what that captured moment conveyed to me that I didn't even notice the background, until it was mentioned by you and another sharp-eyed WSer. [emoji846]

I think Dellen Millard fixed his hair since I tweeted the bowl & dull knife description. Is he reading Twitter on court breaks? #Bosma

LOL

Do they need to reconvene every night to be dismissed?

ETA - it would seem so? There was no question.....just wanted to be done 20 minutes early it appears.....

Hopefully it's not a sign of frustration and a need to get away from deliberations for the night.

Goodman says the jury is tired, and the man who was ill earlier still isn't feeling well. The jury will break for tonight. #TimBosma #Bosma

Justice Goodman says the jury is tired. The juror who fell ill is also not 100 per cent. They will reconvene tomorrow. #TimBosma

Goodman says we're ending, and wishes the jury a "restful evening." Back again tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. #TimBosma #Bosma #HamOnt #sc

Am I the only who thinks that deliberating from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm is somewhat "over the top"? Man, I'd be exhausted. I don't work those kind of hours in my paid job.

But I don't believe MS was afraid or scared of DM. MS initiated contact via phone calls and texts and met up with him (This was my AhhHaa moment). We know why MS lied about that but we're back to, why would BD hang out with someone he was afraid of? If I meet someone and they become sketchy, made me feel unsafe to be around, I break all communications. I don't continue to be their friends. I'm sure Daly probably had a pot supply before he met MS that he could have returned to. So there was some reason why Daly continued to hang with MS....because he liked him perhaps? Maybe lied to distance himself from MS for what he did?

I'm not impressed with any of the "friend" witnesses who testified regarding MS or DM but it's all we have to go by as far as an inside scoop from those closest to the accused. I just don't think that BD would have fabricated a story about MS having had his own gun because there was no reason for BD to manufacture evidence. From what we know, BD was not a part of DM's inner circle or a part of any of the missions. The others who were involved in criminal activities with DM and MS did, in my opinion, have reason to lie, downplay their role etc. You - and the jury - will have to assess the truthfulness of BD's and the others' testimonies, but for me, I believe him about the guns. I think if BD was afraid of MS he wouldn't risk telling a tall tale about MS and the mention of the guns because he can't be sure MS will be convicted. If BD was telling the truth and IF MS gets an acquittal, he'd likely feel very afraid of MS and who could blame him?

Also, BD's feelings of discomfort or fear of MS's anger prior to TB's murder may not have been an intense worry for him but rather just a disquieting sense BD had that he could ignore when his daily need for pot and booze overrode his better judgment. Perhaps BD's fear was embellished a bit on the stand or when he gave his statement to LE because by then he knew MS had been charged with first degree murder of an innocent man during a truck theft and in that context he likely gave more weight to his prior fearful feelings about MS. In hindsight, BD probably realized he should have trusted his instincts and intuition about MS all along.

All MOO.

They are apparently taken to a restaurant for dinner during deliberations also. I wonder if this is before or after they finish at 8:30?

@xxxx they go to a restaurant, accompanied by the court officers.

My gut feeling, and nothing more, is that they are unanimous in the 1DM guilty verdict for DM, but MS is proving to be a tougher thing to determine.

Still think they get them both, however.
