Yes, maybe. It's more a matter of LE needing to get the site-master to turn over the site logs. If it's the usual standard forum software then the IP addresses for every post would be logged. You generally need admin access to see that info though unless for some reason the forum owner decides to display it by default on every post. Most don't and I'd think the forumn in question forum especially wouldn't since many people would rather the world not know that they're, say, posting from work. In fact, the only forums and chatrooms where I've seen it displayed publicly is generally in places where a large % of users anonymize their browsers and IPs and it's displayed as a possible source of teh lulz at the expense of hapless users who don't. IME.
 
Basically the only real clue we have about the identify of the killer is the poster on LIerotic who said Amber was taken care off. So at this point the killer is most likely a John who has told others about the murders. I think Amber's murder was as a revenge for scamming johns. So it stands to reason that the rest of the killings where also John's getting rid of bad eggs. How else could the John possibly know Amber was dead? In light of this, I think the males found in manorville with Jane Doe 200 and Jessica Taylor where most likely helping them run scams on Johns where killed in a scam gone wrong or as a revenge for scamming the wrong John. Jessica Taylor's pimp was in jail, so she may have taken up with a new "pimp" and turned to conning johns.
This most likely scenario IMO.

Shortly after, a pal called "italyrider" asked for her address: "No one from this board needs to be involved. I have friends who can take care of this s---."

Humiliatrix69 posted Costello's address, a description of her home, and her phone number. Three days days later, Morrie chimed in: "A friend of ours told me today that 'You won't hear from those 2 girls anymore!'"

Costello, a twice-divorced drug addict, disappeared on Sept. 2, 2010. That was eight weeks after Humiliatrix69 aired his anger on the message board — and posted raunchy pictures of her from her sex ad on newyorkbackpage.com.

Alot of John's describe the escort's scars and tattoos on utopiaguide and usasexguide. I think it might be possible to find some ID's for the unidentified this way. Too bad Fitzpatrick is a jackass moron who likes to keep all the victim's tattoo's secret locked up in the cold case box.

everything about this case points to the SK being a fulltime monger with years of experience. This guy has dedicated his whole life to picking up prostitutes. He most certainly would have read these old threads from 02-04 most certainly my friends.....and he might have posted on them. Need some sharp eyes.

I'm sure they can the poster was morrie who inspctrgadget looked into. The problem is Morrie's friend is the one who said "you wont hear from those girls anymore". So morrie knows who the killer is and don't forget LE had a poi in april 2011(same month as daily news article about morrie) so i think LE knows who the killer is.

This is the article I've been looking for for awhile. It shows a picture of Amber's "boyfriend" and a "friend". How come we know nothing about Amber's bf or this other character MD? I think they are worth looking into...especially since DS said "it was like she knew him" when describing the man on the phone who picked up Amber. AMber's boyfriend BB is clearly a hardcore addict from the picture in the article. It's well known that serial killers like to attend funeral services of victims and hide in plain sight.
Here's a little look into the kind of person Bjorn Brodsky is:


Brodsky, a Village of Great Neck resident, allegedly drove to the Oyster Bay home of the robbery victim on March 19 and asked the 19-year-old man to speak to him. The victim, an ex-convict who served time in the same prison as Brodsky according to a Nassau County Police spokesperson, allegedly entered Brodsky’s sedan, which was also occupied by two unknown white men.

Brodsky allegedly threatened the victim with a hypodermic needle and told him to empty his pockets. The victim complied, turning over a wallet which police say contained only personal papers before being shoved out of the parked car, police said.

Brodsky allegedly fled west-bound on Shore Road, and the victim suffered no injuries.

The arrest was not Brodsky’s first run-in with the law.

Brodsky was sentenced to a year in prison in 2012 after pleading guilty for criminal possession of a weapon. According to the criminal complaint from that case, on Aug. 12, 2011 Brodsky screamed “give me my medication or I will [expletive] kill you” at the victim while slamming a large kitchen knife repeatedly into the kitchen table at his Village of Great Neck home.

"Brodsky was also accused of choking the victim during that incident, but was not convicted on that charge."

Whats interesting to me is Brodsky robbed a home in Oyster Bay, which where Cherries body part washed up. I think Brodsky is the missing link between Amber and the SK, and the SK could be one of Brodsky's criminal associates. He was also arrested in Brooklyn...which is of note.
 
Another thing is just how much lisk related activity the area around Oyster Bay has had. The lattington body, Cherries washing up on JD's yard, Sarah Strobel murdered in Huntington, The cold Spring Harbor OD who was dumped in Manorville, The Wolf Hill Road man in Dix Hills (Huntington) and the Hand of Gold Jewelry in Huntington Station NY. Perhaps the SK lives on the north shore and dumps on the south shore?

I'm not sure aleph. I'd imagine that Brodsky was the mastermind behind the scam they were running on john's in Amber's house. It seems there is a wealth of info about Amber and her activities in the last few months of her life that as of yet remain a mystery, but could be key to solving this whole case.
 
Amber lived on America Ave. The man that was arrested recently named John Bittrolff had an uncle that lived one street over from Amber; on Chelsea Ave. He could have been visiting his uncle that night. These two streets are a mere 580 feet apart, they are connected by a street named East Little Neck. I looked it up with Google Maps and if one wanted to, they could jump his uncles back yard fence and be on America Ave.

I know Amber didn't grow up there, but I highly doubt that the SK was able to elicit this response from her any other way (like "Hey, I'm a rich famous person and need secrecy, etc.). Amber never would have bought that BS.

Strong theory Whisper. Can anyone find the article where Amber's neighbor says: ""With the people she was hanging around with, who were coming here, it was obvious something was going to happen to her". I always found it suspicious....I found it quoted on a blog and remember the exact quote...but I'm looking for the original article that it was in where it says the neighbors name.
