There is a search group for her with her name how people call her Vixx.

Police divers were today carrying out underwater searches for a missing bride-to-be after finding some of her belongings discarded on a riverbank.

Mother of one Victoria Taylor, 34, a nurse, was engaged to be married to her partner Matthew and the couple had just returned from their first family holiday in Majorca.

She has now been missing for three days in bad weather after being spotted walking towards the River Derwent, discarding some of her possessions on the way.

Her family told MailOnline her disappearance was 'totally out of character' and she had been looking forward to the wedding.

No date had been set but the ceremony was to take place at the Roman Catholic Parish church in the market town of Malton, North Yorkshire, where Matthew is regular at Sunday Mass.

Oh that does not sound good :(

No, not cities. A city in the UK has to have a cathedral there.

Malton and Norton are just very small Yorkshire towns, the population of Malton is just 13,000.
Historically, a city had a cathedral and was the seat of a bishopric or was the seat of a university, but in more recent times a number of existing population centres have been "upgraded" to city status for other reasons and by a parliamentary process. Such cities include Perth, Brighton, Colchester and Wolverhampton.

Malton is an ancient market town. Norton is a village.

Unfortunately this case is only going to end one way it seems

I hope she’s found soon so her family can begin to grieve.

Notwithstanding that she was said to be looking forward to the wedding, the fact that the family had just returned from their first holiday together makes me wonder if something happened on that holiday, eg a major row or a confession by her fiance, that called all of that into question.

Slightly clumsy reporting ( no surprise there, it is the DM ).

I initially read this as meaning that people had seen her walking and discarding possessions.
When I read the whole article, it seems that items were discovered later, found along the route she is thought to have taken.

The fact that her baseball cap and backpack were the two items found - in separate places - makes me think she was perhaps running away from an attacker ?
Firstly, her hat fell off - or did she lose it as someone tried to reach and and grab her ? And she then discarded her pack, to enable her to run faster- and also in the possible hope that it would distract and slow down her attacker ?

all moo of course

Thank you for clarifying that. I had only seen the headline as the DM site often locks up my browser, so I hadn't read the full article and had got an impression of VT being observed discarding items.

I would say from this latest image she is trying to disguise her appearance very different from the other photo released. Would this lead us to think this is a planned disappearance? JMO
