So someone contact Amy and questions her about why they left for PR separately. This is insane, Ricardo came back from Boston on the 8th and stayed at the airport for the flight to PR. Amy met him at the airport. Troy had a job interview that delayed him from going until the 11th. And now they are being involved in this. I am just about to loss my mind.
Driving me crazy too Elley Mae! But remember, at the time Jesse G was just getting to know the Amy crowd and he was also very much searching for answers and trying to figure it all out.

The house must be close to imploding!
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm feeling some
information over-load fatigue.
:pcguru:
NO, NO, Not at all!! Need more information!! What I really want to know is all the good stuff which is what LE is NOT releasing!

Well, there is probably some truth in that (I won't proclaim to know), but IMO, LE DID want the information out there. It was a tactical move on their part, imo. What in those interviews did they need to prove the economic charges? Perhaps the child neglect might be touched on a bit, but they wouldn't need everything released to prove that charge, either.

Imo, it was a tactical move on LE's part to release exactly what they wanted out there. Since it is the discovery phase, it can and will be used when the state brings forth a murder charge.

Yeah, what I was trying to say (not so well ) is that either party (LE or Defense) can turn over material directly to each other without filing through the courts if they want. Once it's filed with the court, it essentially becomes public information. LE filed these interviews through the courts because they wanted them to become public information, IMO. Strategic - as you say.

does anyone have any clue what all the docu~dumping right now means? Could we perhaps be near an indictment folks??? Does anyone know much about how GJ works...if they could have called a secret GJ, etc????
Found this about Florida grand juries. Apparently, secrecy is paramount. However, I'm sure it would be hard to shut up adversarial witnesses or young people, although it does seem casey's friends have been fairly quiet:

I don't know about my fellow WSers, but I can't even get through all the documents from earlier! I read for a bit, get mad, read some WSers comments on the section I've read, then walk away for a bit. Now they are putting out TWO hours of an interview. Geez, we will have to listen several times and then go back through it. I wish they would put out the transcription too. It's hard to remember everything in a two hour interview. I'm on overload and can't take it much longer.

If I feel overwhelmed, I can not imagine how the tension much be at A's.

This is beginning to sound like they don't have enough evidence to charge KC so they are going to try her in the Court of public opinion. She has already been tried there and found guilty. You would think they would keep some of this quiet for trial. IMO

I know when we were waiting for the other interviews to be released (transcripts), they had reporters waiting outside of Kinkos (SP?) waiting to pick the transcripts up. They were at that time being handed over to the defense.

so are they releaseing them to the defense AND the public at the same time?

Makes sense to me.
Welcome suzihawk!

personally, I really am thinking the EXACT same thing. I really, really do not think as of yet they have enough (legally) to charge her with murder. that's why I think they are charging her with all of the smaller crimes- which combined will keep her in jail for several years in hopes more evidence, or more advanced technology will become available.

Two hours, huh? Have mercy! That's going to be a tough one to get through. I get riled watching her for two minutes. Better warn my hubby to get out the earplugs. Hope my computer survives. :behindbar

It's my understanding that they could have been provided to the defense as discovery without filing them with the court and therefore they would not have been made public (as it wouldn't have been in the defense's best interest to do so, IMO). There's a reason that they're releasing them to the public. I just haven't figured out quite why yet. But I like it!

Long, loooong time lurker and voracious reader. Not much of a 'talker', though. Carry on... :seeya:

Well for one thing, Baez has been incredibly unccoperative and hostile toward OCPD, and takes every opportunity to bad-mouth them to the press. Can't say I blame them for not giving him any courtesy.

Umm I just went to read the article and it's not there? It's an article about the audio's released this afternoon.

Anyone have a link to any of these things being released?

I am soo hoping that this is true.

It was at the very bottom of that article. Is it gone now?

Thanks for the heads up. This should indeed be interesting. Does anyone know, how many official interviews Cindy gave? How about the date of the first interview, is that public record and I'm just not aware of it? 2 weeks in, wasn't Cindy already starting to make excuses? I'd love to be able to compare and contrast this from one she might have given at an earlier time.

Good point! I would also be interested in comparing the two interviews. But we do have her 1st statement in the first 400 pages released.

One thing I don't understand. Why did they wait TWO weeks to question Cindy??? Wouldn't it have been to LE advantage to talk to her BEFORE she had two weeks to think up everything she wanted to say?? Is this customery?? I don't know as I have never really paid attention to cases this closely before. Did LE drop the ball by waiting too long to question everybody?

In the interviews released this week, LE made it clear that these were follow-up interviews. They had already talked to Lee, Ricardo, Tony, Amy, etc...

I wonder if it will be the old CA that said she knew KC did something or the hopelessly in denial CA?

Friday, the State Attorney's Office is releasing the videotaped interview with Caylee's grandmother Cindy, which was done two weeks after she reported Caylee missing. It is two hours long.

Wow....things are coming fast & furious, just like our expert astrologers saw in the planets! I better finish reading all the text messages tonight! guess we will be reading alot this weekend!!!:clap:

I cannot wait to see this interview. there are so many things i want to find out from CA....afterall she was the one that loved caylee the most.
One thing I keep thinkin g about today is the babysitting/nanny issue.
*If caylee was living there, i find it odd that CA would never have been needed to drop caylee off at the babysitter for kc...like maybe if Kc was unwell. Or would CA take the day off to look after her grandaughter while her daughter rested?(there were a few text messages indicating kc was unwell at one point, and then theres the seizure...)
*Ca was intensely involved in their lives and questioned alot of what Kc did in regards to parenting. Was she ever suspiscious of this babysitter that she never saw or spoke to?had she ever questioned kc about this?
*Did Ca not talk with caylee when she got home about what she did that day at the sitters? thats just weird... the first thing I do when my girls get back from daycare or a stay at nonnas is ask them what went on in their day.
My mum talks to them each night by phone and does the same thing.
*Did caylee call Kc mummy (i'm from australia-we dont spell it mommy), or mama?

*Did kc ever see a psychiatrist or psychologist. does she have any diagnosed mental illness/personality or mood disorders and is tehre a family history of this.(which i doubt since this family doesnt seem to confront their problems)
*Did Kc have any recent trips to the dentist (chloroform is used by dentists and she could have stolen it)

gosh...i could be here forever. why dont they just let us question the anthonys....lol

This stuff is being released because of the FOI law, right? I would imagine that LE and the defense would rather it not be.....
