IMO, drugs have converted many US rural areas into war zones. I'm concerned for him too. Frankly, I see nothing good coming of this.

But we have very little opportunity for free entertainment on our beloved board....we usually have to spend endless hours looking for info.

So I will continue to watch the show.

Well I am doing my best what to decipher without being able to read the comments on the VSP website.
Thank you to a very nice member helping me. I hope this is not another one of these cases where we never find out what has happened to Austin.
And your right Henry, many rural areas are now drug havens mainly being lack of sustainable work in order to survive. Selling drugs becomes an income and there is always someone looking for dope.
 
Very quiet today......no word on MSM or Vermont State Police. No additional comments on VSP page. Somebody needs to start talking. Austin is out there, somewhere....

More activity on the Vermont State Police page. Commentator Analysis of other comments.....makes a good point while under cross examination. I hope anything they say helps find Austin....

I don't see any further activity since last weekend... where am I missing it?
 
Just wondering if Austin's girlfriend has had anything to add lately.
 
This if just my opinion.....I think this family has some clue who is involved with Austin's disappearance. Why you ask? There are some very telling clues on the Vermont State Police page that I can't repeat. But you can look for people who agree with other comments. I feel really bad for this family and this small town. Its tough when you think people you know are involved.

That is terrible and happens more than we know I am sure.
The investigation must be in full swing and maybe someone will talk soon.
You hate to assume but this is not sounding to good.
 
This is slightly OT and of no importance to the case but I’ve seen his name spelled as both “Austin” and “Austen”. His own FB is “Austen” and Mom referred to him with that spelling a few times too...in case anyone was looking for his FB and couldn’t locate it.

We see this often for 2 reasons,
1: it's funny/cute
2. People get either banned or locked out of their FB accounts (lost password & likewise can't log into email to retrieve new password) & simply create a 2nd one

I know you guys weren't insinuating anything noteworthy as to the name variation. I'm just expanding on it.

Gonna check out the VTSP thread now.

Thanks, bravo, for the welcome! Looking forward to checking out the rest of this site. I'm sort of new to cold cases (notwithstanding the Maura Murray case which I've followed for 3 years heavily).
 
This family is in agony. Clearly someone knows something and needs to spill it. No MSM......family begging for info.
