Starr Lara is one of the victim’s family members frustrated by the delay. Detectives think her sister Jamie Grissim was Forrest’s first murder. December will mark 50 years since she disappeared from Fort Vancouver High School. Her school ID was found near Martha Morrison’s remains and the remains of Carol Valenzuela in remote Clark County. It was Starr who kept pushing detectives to investigate, which lead to the DNA breakthrough.
It would be great to know what type of vehicle Forrest owned (he was an adult, so I assume he had one). If Jamie was the first victim, he probably hid her body better than the other victims' remains. Was it an urban vehicle or maybe a 4x4? That could giv us an idea of the places he may have gone. Was he familiar with countryside areas? Did his family or one of his friends own a property where he could have hidden something? He was an adult, but he was very young... Maybe he asked for help.
I feel Jamie's remains haven't been located yet, I think she is still where he put her.
I don't want to finish without sending all my love to Starr Lara; I hope you find her and have some peace at last.
The talk a lot about Warren Forrest being her killer (Jaime being his first victim) and about other women that he killed. They also play an interview of one of the victims that were able to escape from him.
