However the officer actually said "her appearance had been changed, in other words her appearance was different than when she left her home on May 9th. She was aware of the massive effort to locate her and bring her home safely."

Never does the LE Officer use the words " to remain hidden". Nothing about remaining hidden at all. Massive difference IMO.

When I have the actual words from LE in a video I will take that over the twisted way it is written by a reporter. It's just that the story makes it sound like she was trying not to be found.

I'm not sure how that would spice up the story. It seems to me that "Human Trafficking" are the keywords that both the police and the media use to spice up a story. All they have to do is mention those two words, and EVERYBODY will be talking about it. Downplaying that aspect, is certainly not spicing up the story, IMHO.

I see what you are saying. I just meant that along with the Human Trafficking that happened, they made it sound like this poor girl was going along with it, as opposed to being a victim.

Yes it's been posted a few times and the bolded line is a complete falsehood no matter how this reporter tries to dress it up with with an added caveat in his update. OY, LOL

Much of the other info seems valid. The video is the most helpful - tells what LE actually said..

Agree. At least this time the article is written somewhat different. Is this the same reporter as the one who misrepresented what the police officer stated?

Pittman minimized his involvement in the case and reportedly tried to help investigators find Fitzpatrick and gave them a cell phone he said belonged to the girl. He is the person police said was beat up by a group of vigilantes who believed him to be a suspect in the teen's disappearance.

Greer told the court at least one other person also might be charged.”

Since family in involved, turn the page over to them and let them do as they want. It's their daughter afterall. If they want her name on it, they will leave it. If they don't, they can change it. Why would you or anyone not family want control over the page when family knows the page exists? Give it to them! Makes sense to me.

Mother has been clear about what she would like to see happen with this, so we are sticking with her plan.
The direction and use of the page hasn't been our issue. Just disappointed it is not easy to have a page renamed.

this is a plausible theory, but I think that ALex would have avoided meeting her mother though.

I wondered about that. I wonder if possibly she was dropped at a bus stop by one of the perps, who then tipped off police, just to rid themselves of this “liability.” This poor child.

I understand. I helped run the Lucas Hernandez page for a little while and we requested a name change in February, it's still not happened.

this article says COUNTS said "his thing is to drug girls......" so COUNTS is one of his children's mother...... this gets deeper and deeper.

That’s what I’m thinking. I don’t believe she was wandering around by herself for a few days. Someone most likely let her go near the bus stop IMO.
