there looks like a small roadway leading from the S&L on the corner that leads along 3rd almost to the corner of Maple then enters 3rd. I wonder if that bank has an ATM ?? It would have a photo of whoever was there at the time of her disappearance. Or their outdoor cameras.
I see this on google earth.

No drunks but on that note i attempted to speak with a guy that came walking out of the Jewelry store (w/a Jewelry store t-shirt on) & he didn't want ANYTHING to do with me. *at all*. I greeted, told him my name, asked of his & he pretty much just kept walkin. Said he 'didn't have time'

Just to let you know, JVK, if you go back on Monday, Linda, the owner of the video store the girls were at, will be there. She is the one who took care of them, and the only one who knows what happened exactly (who rented, how many girls, etc)

the photos really show how vulnerable she was when she got to 3rd, if she got to 3rd. certainly enough places for a predator to linger waiting for her to get to more desolate spot.

It was reported early that there was some sort of bike dispute, that Lindsey had been riding her brother's bike all day and that's what the argument was about that led to him going back home. Sounds like Lindsey didn't have a bike of her own.

So the friend must have a bike or the friend was using the brothers bike. The two went swimming at someones house during the day prob took the bikes.

That is a drinking fountain & it looked like a ~necklace some one had put around it (my guess is from the vigil ~25ft away)

That bridge is right behind the PD, i did not cross it but it leads to Mommsen.

In Re: of that bridge, KK said Lindsey's house is just a couple houses away from it. (on the other side)

I hope somebody's checked that old tied-up portapotty?/refrigerator? in front of that house on pic 192! The tie on it that you show a couple pics later looks kind of fresh. It doesn't have any of the rust or and dust on it.

Things grow so well there that the vacant lots or areas between houses are like little jungles! I remember it was like that down all the alleys in Tacoma, too.

(Finally saw an espresso stand. I was really beginning to wonder about that. Washington has espresso stands like other states have gas stations.)

Ok so that series was a little strange.

This was behind 8th st in an alley (the other side of simpson) when i noticed mid-way through some disruption in the normal 'vegetation.

The first thing i noticed was this (196)

It may seem like nothing but it kinda stuck out w/nothing else bothered.

So next i decide i'm going to walk around to the front & ID the house this is behind.

That's when i met the biggest dickwad of the day. (Not pictured)

I was standing in front of this house & this older man opens his door.

Didn't think much of it.

I was still giving this house a good look over.

He brings out this dog (medium sized) & i didn't think much of it, figured he's taking the dog for a walk or something.

That's when i hear (at a distance) ~"Ma we got some kinda freak out here".

Then Mr Dickwad decided to encourage his dog to take 'interest' in me and it did.

The dog got aggressive, barking and started running toward me.

I stood my ground, didn't move an inch & stared right at it. While his aggression may have been ~intimidating his size didn't concern me much.

Takes a much larger dog to scare me off.

I own 2 dogs that are between medium/large & large. (larger)

Once the dog got about 5ft from me he stopped/realized he aint got ****. That's also when Mr Dickwad realized the same. Only after this did Dwad 'call' his dog back.

I didn't want to photo him right then & there (making things worse) so i swung by later. BTW i'm pretty sure that's his tan Taurus in my rearview mirror.

Not sure.. it's on some ones property so.. not like i could swing it open. :/

Don't know for sure but an older lady was there, it was probably Linda.

Pretty small place. Not 'all' a video store though. There's a tanning bed @ the back & a copy machine. Both a 'service.
