Me neither!! This is getting excessive!! I have been unable to find any articles on this case - maybe a local or someone in the U.S. could find something - and WHY this keeps getting reset....

Here’s a case where the judge finally said “enough” after four years of the defendant’s behavior causing attorneys to quit. It’s supposed to go to trial next week. We’ll see.

Woman accused of leaving boyfriend to die in suitcase after game of hide-and-seek to return to court

A woman accused of killing her boyfriend by zipping him inside a suitcase is set to return to court this morning.

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A woman accused of killing her boyfriend by zipping him inside a suitcase is set to return to court this morning.

Orange County deputies said Sarah Boone and Jorge Torres were drunk when she put him in the bag during a game of hide-and-seek in their Winter Park apartment in February 2020.

Investigators said cellphone video shows Boone taunting Torres while he struggled to breathe.

The amended motion filed by Owens today doesn't add any case law or legal authority under which to ask for this motion to be granted. He doesn't seem to be very good at this, IMO!

Is he deliberately setting her up to appeal on the basis of an incompetent defense?

*Omnibus Hearing (@ 1pm PT) – WA – Natalie Genevieve Gulizia (14) (Dec. 18, 2018, Renton, fatally shot by mom), 12-yr old boy (tied up) & Michael Gulizia (ex, tazed & tied up) - *Svetlana Borisovna Laurel (aka Lavrinenko) (52/now 57) arrested (12/18/18), charged (12/19/18) & arraigned (1/3/19) with 1st degree aggravated & premeditated murder, premeditated attempted 1st degree murder, kidnapping & unlawful imprisonment. Plead not guilty. Held without bail. King County
Natalie was fatally shot for calling 911, 12 yr. old was zip-tied, Michael was tazed & tied up, tried to shoot him, but gun jammed.
Trial was set to begin on 10/28/24 was continued with no further dates. (29th time trial has been rescheduled).
