Lyle was found in 2001 and the FDLE info for E.D. seems to be from 1999. I looked for more pics of E.D. and google didn't come up with anything of intrest.

That's a really neat way to get a picture out. I think there is a way to make a profile or avatar rotate a picture. Anybody know how to do that? Then, use it in every forum a person is a member of.

Concerning the motel, I think I was able to find an birds eye view of the location on Google Maps using the sattelite option. There appears to be a very long stretch of road where the hotel is. So maybe this was the highway he was pacing up and down near

Hello- New here, but thought I´d throw out some ideas I haven´t seen yet. Has Bree Carlson ever been ruled out? I know it says he has blond hair, but in the picture it doesn´t look blond, I shrank down the full on front face autopsy shot and superimposed the two, and they seem to be a relatively good match. The only available picture is a passport photo, maybe he´s already been ruled out, but its always worth a look.http://www.nampn.org/cases/carlson_bree.html

Also, There is a Meridan IOWA. The abbreviation is IA. As I looked at his handwriting, the way he forms the A in avenue is in one motion, as is the last letter in the state abbreviation. The capitol D in the word suicide is made in two distinct strokes. Meridan Iowa is in an area (Northwest Iowa) with many native indians.
I can see how someone looking at the registration he signed might think it was a D instead of an A and ask him for the city , he say meridan- she looks at the state abbreviation and says Idaho-and for him there wouldn´t be any reason to correct the state. Just thought I shoot a couple more theories out there.

There is a Meriden Iowa NOT a Meridan Iowa It is in Cherokee County I think he looks Native American also.

What made me look twice at Bree Carlson was the side view of Lyle´s nose. Give Bree a little longer hair, he´s a close match for height and time when he went missing- not only that, he was reported as highly suicidal, having sent all his things to his mother. I´ve tried to search high and low for another picture of him to compare- you can´t see if he has that same mole in the passport picture. Anyway, like I said before, just throwing out some ideas. Thanks!

I always thought that mole looked like a pimple (on an angle)
