IMO, RC & MC WOULD (not saying did) grow pot if they could make some $ and have some to smoke. I don't think they lived their lives in any kind of way that showed any intelligence at all, so while you and I might not be so foolish as to do this when you might be under the watchful eye of LE for other reasons, I have seen nothing to make me believe that this group of people (anyone in the mix) would be as wise.

I just can't see RC having that many pot plants in his home, small mobile home OR large house. He was already on the radar with DCF. And considering all the more extreme drugs they were trafficking in, I don't see him risking growing and storing marijuana plants in his home. And I get the point of which media source do you choose to believe? Hard call sometimes, but in the true spirit of WS, worth discussing and sleuthing if possible.

I'm laughing at the idea in your post, not at you. But, you're right, Ron, who was under the radar with DCF already wouldn't want to be caught as a marijuana farmer but rather as a dealer of prescription meds - as he was. LOL

It is more than coincidence that pot plants were found around the pond LE chose to drain. LE was alerted to the plants and the pond and that place that one or more of the players hang. Isn't mud blogging done there also? They have not drained any other one that I am aware of. I maintain somebody incarcerated spoke of that place and they drained it because of what was said about Haleigh. There were rumors that a letter was written about Haleigh being placed in a black garbage bag and put in the water. That is likely the place they believe she was placed at the time. They were looking for a large black garbage bag in that pond imo.

Mc and ron were not under the watchful eye of LE when they had the pot or plants that possibly could have been taken to the mondex. They had used pot as I understand way before Haleigh went missing. If you recall, somebody said they could smell Pot in Haleigh's hair. The opportunity could have been there for they or someone else to move the plants before the search for Haliegh. The way Tommy and ron go in and out of woods, it also could have been placed there earlier if they were responsible. There is no proof to know they did, but we can speculate. Geraldo received word from somebody that pot was in the MH. In plants and in bricks...I choose to believe that.

Nope, have no doubt r * m were prolific pot smokers way before the watchful eye of LE. Who is to say that LE was not aware of drugs being in the MH. At that point, that wasn't top priority....just as his bedding a minor was not top priority either.

Good possibility that the door always had a cinder block near it for holding it open to carry things in and out of the MH. On that night, it may have been propped to carry out plants/stuff/laundry/ or whatever.

I agree with that, I tend to give human thoughts and emotions alot more credit than some humans exhibit. If they were foolish enough to deal drugs while not being aware that LE had to be scrutinizing them in this investigation, then hey, I guess anything is possible.

LOL, yes, it seems that the bunch has to make alot of choices along the way as to "what is worse and more lucrative to me?" Dealing marijuana or dealing script drugs?, pleading guilty to trafficking, or giving up info on a murder or missing investigation?

You're right, Whisp. It's just too much of a coincidence that they'd be talking to Tommy, Nay Nay writes that letter, and suddenly 100 plants show up at a pond in an area filled with all sorts of ponds.

Re RC growing plants. That February was COLD and from what I have researched, they wouldn't have survived too easily....JMO

One other thing to watch for is frost. Even a mild frost can damage plants so watching the weather closely in late September and throughout October is important. If your plants do get damaged by frost the erb is still harvestable so don't give up entirely if you fail to chop before the first frost.

Boy the things you learn at WS But I think it would have been hard for them to survive unnoticed for months by mudboggers and given the weather conditions. While I do think RC probably did grow pot--I don't see the link from the pots found back to him. There were several hard freeze warnings IIRC. Again, all JMO.

I don't see how they could have cleaned up a pot growing set up before calling the police. Even a few plants require a lot of accessories, lamps, timers, dark cabinets, food, etc.

Junior most definitely would have had plenty of stories for the specialists that interviewed him soon after arriving at 202 that early morning.

A hundred plants is very labor intensive, I don't for a minute think Ron, himself, was growing-- he may have been involved in some grows that other folks tended, imo. Iow, you grow it, tend it, break your back, take all the risks, harvest it, trim it, package it up, and I'll come buy to sell it for you for 50% of the profit-- that's more like Ron.

As far as a cleaning up effort that night-- unfortunately, I believe all this group's energy went into disappearing Haleigh. :sad:

I doubt the marijuana plants recovered while doing the pond drain were related to anyone of the major players in this case. I still believe they were not related.

As far as your second thought, time and truth will tell.

Debs that 1st 100 look to be just little baby plants, doesn't even look like they are on the floor but raised up close to their light source( to me) The room looks to be some sort of garage but definitely bigger than one of the bedrooms at 202 Green Lane, I see all of the reflective covering on the walls in the background, wow quite an operation to be removing while trying to cover up for the death of a child as well.
