If in fact there was any broken finger, where is a Doctor with an x-ray to explain it to us ??? none/nada !!!!

I'm hoping the ME examines it in rebuttal. He could even bring along a portable x-ray machine.

I don't like jodi.

Still singin' that same old song, are ya?! You really must not like her....

The bed linens came off the bed. There are crime scene photos showing the bed and pillows stripped of all the linens. There were probably still linens on the bed during the naked photo taking, but after Travis was killed there are no linens on the bed, and they were in the dryer. It could have been either Jodi or Travis that stripped the bed of its linens and put them int he wash before the killing. I'm inclined to think it may have been Travis since there was such little time for everything Jodi did after the killing before the roommate came home, and I don't think there was enough time with everything she did in order for her to strip the bed and get the linens through a whole wash cycle before putting in the next wash load with the camera. From the time of the killing she had less than half an hour to drag Travis back to the shower and do everything she did before leaving.

yeah, i forgot the bed was stripped. maybe he did that between picture time and shower time. there's 2 or 3 hours between, right?

someone else was discussing the furniture being moved and the signs of cleaning. again, i think he may have been doing this before the shower. maybe she had left and he didn't know she was coming back. coming back is one of her favorite tricks.

DH and I will be watching Michigan in the final four tonight - I'll read a book and pretend that I'm interested ;) - but I just noticed that there is a movie on Lifetime at 6:00 (EDT) that sounds a lot like the Jodi/Travis relationship. I don't recall having seen this made for TV movie but will tune in shortly. DH is on dinner duty - grilled swordfish and asparagus. Enjoy your evening.

A Mother's Nightmare (2012) (TV)

Vanessa moves fast to claim Chris for her own, taking his time away and distancing him from his family and friends. His mom, Maddie, is disturbed by their sudden relationship and when she discovers a secret of Vanessa's and she uses all her resources to convince Chris to end it. Angered and vengeful, Vanessa accuses Chris of a heinous act that turns the school against him and sparks an online attack. When things get violent, Vanessa plans her next move and Maddie must find out Vanessa's game before she loses her son forever.

:therethere: Real trials don't have Perry Mason moments because of all the rules and the discovery process. But . . . for connecting the dots and getting to the truth of things, Juan Martinez does keep things lively. Who could possibly sleep through the moment he dropped the camera? Or after digging away at Jodi's loss of memory, when he said, "Well, it's YOUR fog? Or how he got a psychologist with a PhD so rattled he blurts out, "SIR! I BEG your pardon"!
OHHH but if it could.... I can picture JM opening a box with dry ice in it and fog rolling out as he pulls an item...
"No, Ma'am this is not your "fog" it's the SMOKING GUN!"

Do we have OCD?

Any "shrinks" here now?

Some of us may wonder at times, "why am I spending so much time with this?" Yet seem powerless to stop!

Do we have OCD or what???

Yes I know most of us want to see justice done and so on, but still....

I love the people here and their brilliant minds... Even when they're wrong;) and disagree with me. I don't have anyone in real life that shares my interest in the justice system and more specifically psychopaths.

Not much on the television I like.... Except for pure entertainment like Dance Moms and Real Housewives. lol

Sydni I just talked to my brother, who lives in TN, and he had no clue who Arias was  I was like NEVERMIND!

I swore I would never get caught up in another trial after OJ, then came CA (I lied), swore never again......now here I am demanding justice for Travis and his family.

Me too.

What if an xray were to show that it had been broken?

"If you don't know the answer, don't ask the question" is supposed to be one of the big rules for attorneys. It would be way too much of a gamble for the PT to request this, if they even could do it. The DT may have done it and come up empty handed.

I might be wrong on this, but my understanding of discovery is that the parties disclose what the intend to use in trial. So a negative finding that won't be used in trial would not be included in discovery.

In ALV's presentation she claims to want women to be more assertive, be more like the wicked witch in Snow White. So is that why we all love and admire JM. Because he is what ALV aspires us all to be? If this is true then why is she so upset with JM? And why is she having problems answering his questions?????

Great post! I have believed she wrote her journals for alibi purposes ever since I saw her passage about being mildly amused that three or four admirers asked her out for the same weekend. (Yeah, right!)

1. She thinks it shows cops she doesn't need Travis since all these other men want her.

2. It serves her extreme narcissism.

Your post led me to realize what the journals are, they are the phony voicemail that she left Travis after the murder in written form. They are conversational, they are full of her inane verbosity, and they contain little bits and pieces and elements of truth, but are FAKE in their entirety.

I see no reason at all for her to "put" the camera in the washer. AND turn the washer on if she wanted them to find it?

She would leave it on the night table, or in his closet, neatly sitting on a shelf.

Nobody that I know would intentionally put a camera in a washing machine and turn it on Wash and expect it would function at all. And it almost didn't.

However if your theory is she meant to leave it behind so they'll find salacious pictures of Travis and her on it (proof that HE did like her, he found her sexy, he wanted her, they did bad things together and who cares about the Mormon Church, she wasn't Mormon (not in my eyes, she does not have the normal thought process of a person that can reasonably join anything let alone be sincere in her religious thoughts)

Then maybe she left it behind, but she would have still intended to leave it not in a place of harm, so the washing machine was still an accident.

But I think she meant to take it but bundled it up and could not find it. I think...not 100% sure as the argument is quite compelling, if she intended to take it, why take any time to delete crap from it.. Do that later..

ok, let's ask her.. she'll tell us the truth

I have been wondering how JA came into enough cash to buy a house, buy a nice car, travel when she seems to not have held a consistent job. I could understand it if she worked fine dining for a period of time longer than a month. Considering where she lived and what is grown there, could she have been a "mule"? We already know she is one end of it. Just sayin...

If we did some kind of thorough background check on her, it might reveal she did not put money down on the house, the boyfriend did (and he may have purchased it no money down) that stands to reason why they lost the house, with no money down, the payment was quite high and then ended up in the middle of the upside down mortgage thing like many did..

Car? no money down again and she lost the Infinity. The bank took it back.
