I used to be a vet tech so I wasn't worried enough to fork out thousands to the emergency place. I would have done something to the tail myself but doing so is a 2 person job and no way would these men help me hold the cat down or anything.

Simple solution if anything like that ever happens again.

Just ask one of them to get you duct tape.

Most guys are anxious to use it to fix broken things. While their mind is on duct tape, you pretty much could have them use it to tape up the tail to stop the bleeding. Make it a duct tape game and you'll have more help than you could imagine.

It's the pain... I'm kinda a regular at the ER vet. Never spent thousands. Most I think was for my cat i found as a stray that loved horses. a horse stepped on and broke her leg... Twice! Her tail was also stepped on, she didn't lose it, just lost all feeling in it. That cat still rubbed all over horse ankles...couldn't keep her in as she would tear open the window screens and escape. Had to have the cast replaced ... Because she escaped... Out in the rain.

I wanted to tell everyone that Trisha's rado podcast was so good last night--she had Wendy Murphy and our KCL. WM said that she expects this to be the last "expert witness" work ALV will get due to her off the wall testimony. She said "I don't know how much she was paid, I don't know what is the going price for someone's soul." Wow.

She also said that ALV going up to Samantha could have been planned by the DT. I'm not leaning towards that, but anything's possible.

I think that the first business of the day ought to be ALV getting spanked by the judge for her comment to Samantha. But, then I remember that this judge does next to nothing in this case. ALV will probably get away with it and continue to think that she's a big shot.

I hope that she gets to be on the stand with Juan TWICE as long as Samuels did...just for payback! Despise that woman!!!

Since she probably got spanked out in the hallway after court last week, we probably won't get any satisfaction in a public manner. Drats.

It's been so long since last Thursday, I can't remember where JM left off with the Snow White thing.

He didn't get to the happily ever after part. She was still on the clever name, plugging her Youtube be played for the jury part.

I've tried to train my men but the only retain their schooling for like a day and go right back to doing the wrong things. Been dealing with them for 30 something years and the only thing that has been accomplished is that they taught themselves to tune me out.

I remember visiting my grandparents in south GA during the hot summers. People worked in the cooler parts of the day, rested after lunch on shady porches, ran fans, etc. I like AZ's bare bones approach to prisoners, but I hope the correctional folks are well-paid.

I went to high schools in both Pennsylvania and Virginia that had no air conditioning. I can remember dripping sweat all over my final exams and making the ink run. The knocked down my high school in Virginia and built a new one with AC the year after I graduated. I was really, uh, annoyed.

I couldn't agree more. It's so frustrating. I wonder if she knows how much she gets bad-mouthed?? I would be embarrassed if I were her.

I agree. I don't think SA had much contact w/ JA before the trial started... I'd bet very few phone calls. Just because SA and the twin are visiting JA doesn't mean they have any feelings for JA one way or the other. Frankly, I'm surprised SA is even there at all...

It comforts me to think if Jodi somehow avoids the DP and LWOP, she'll never see those places. Instead, she'll watch inmates coming and going for the rest of her life who could see those place and enjoy so many things she never will.

It was my impression that the spanking happened after court Thursday. Judge had a little meeting with the Violet in the hallway from what I heard after the jury left.
