1,100 PAGES were released.

Nobody has apologized to KC and set her free.

They won't be exculpatory.

IMO

As per usual, you said it all, said it well and managed to be succinct at the same time. :)

Nolo contendere or no contest pleas mean the defendant admits the prosecution has enough evidence to convict them but they are not admitting guilt. So, yes, you can plea guilty, sort of, without confessing.

Thank you kindly for the answer. I just can't see KC standing up in public before a judge and saying 'Yes I killed my daughter', accidently or otherwise. Maybe the defense can accept a plea this way, if the SA is willing. Kinda doubt they will be tho.

Since we're speaking about the duct tape...

I'm hoping there is more to incriminate KC in the doc dump. Fingerprints or not on duct tape doesn't negate the fact the KC didn't let anyone know for 31 days that her child was missing. IMO, the lies, the fake job, the partying after the fact will hopefully be discussed by the jury when in deliberations. So, if any juror has reasonable doubts, another juror or more would bring that back into the deliberations as a red flag of guilt.

All of us here want Caylee to have justice. We know she wasn't kidnapped or otherwise. There are no other suspects. KC is on trial for her murder. I hope the jury sees to it that justice is served.

Agreed. How flimsy a bridge based on false foundations forever flumoxing our fondest false dreams of forever incarcerating fickle sociopath. (Old English version).
Double agree. Love it when you speak Olde English! Gives the Babel fish a thrill!

I highly doubt Caylee would pull off duct tape if it was stuck to her hair. Duct tape is like super tape it could possible pull off skin when ripped off especially a small child.

I agree, removing the duct tape would be painful.

But, that duct tape may also prove whether it was put on while Caylee was alive or not. She may have tried to pull on it and left some of her own prints, proving that she was alive, which to me proves premeditation. I still hold up hope that the duct tape will reveal lots of things. I'm also hoping there is some evidence in the hair that was underneath.

Cant wait for the doc dump

Quetion:

1: How many knives are presently in custody, helping LE with their inquiries?

2. What colour were the ties on the black garbage bag at the remains site?

1. there is one knife which has been described two ways, kitchen knife and stainless stell knife.

2. I have seen nothing that tells what color the ties were on the trash bag at the site or even if the bag had ties!

So Professor, how did I do - break it to me gently, please :)

So about those finger prints...

Since we're allowed to speculate here. I'm speculating that the prosecution will be working on the fingerprint evidence up until right before the trial starts. They have to know that Casey will never plea, that there will be a trial and that the defense will try and spin every bit of evidence. So, I'm speculating that LE and SA will keep the slam dunk finger print evidence close to the vest for as long as possible to prevent the defense from having over a year to work on spinning/tainting the validity of the evidence.

Will the doc dump this week have info that is damaging to the defense? Probably. Everything they've released to date just points the finger right back at Casey. Will there be a "bombshell" "smoking gun" type document that seals the deal against Casey in this doc dump? No...but I'd bet that this will clear up a few things that were released last doc dump.

So, it looks like we won't be able to rule out prints on the duct tape right now. Also, remember that prints on the tape are not the only slam dunk item. If her prints are on the inside of the plastic bag, it's just as good.

JMHO as always.

We need to read the next lot carefully too. If we were still grading I'd give you an A.

since #1 is already posted in mythbusters, why don't you post the answer to #2 in Mythbusters with your back up.

I just want my greedy little hands on these. I have a feeling JB DID go to the hospital due to a stress ulcer or something which makes me think these are pretty damning to our dear friend Casey.

I'll be very interested in any results on the things we aren't positive were found, such as bedding, diaper/pull-ups, as well as the additional computer forensics.

As for the duct tape, while there may not be discernible fingerprints, perhaps there are results that conclude whether the duct tape was applied pre or post mortem.

Tater, you're always soo logical. That may be the duct tape news that is not good for the defense.

these were items supposedly from the car on 6/16:

Page 3174 says a black plastic bag with:doll, blue crate, backpack, toothbrush, dinner knife, black leather bag, clothes hanger.
papers. (not in that order)

given to CSI by Det Beasley after they photographed the sealed car

after they opened the car they found carseat, belt, CD case, 2 pr shoes, sunglasses, a piece of freshener sheet.

I know I read somewhere in docs after they found Caylee's remains, Cindy gave a stainless steel knife to CSI. Is this the knife mentioned in the docs dated 7/16 and it was reiterated after the body was found? If not that is 2 knives.

It would also explain BC's statement that he will prepare the A's for results that will be released in the discovery release. That would be incredibly hard to bear.

Also, IF there are results proving the duct tape application was pre-mortem, then it would further support the DP possibly being brought back to the table.
