What do you do if suspect missing people and the family to be responsible in the UK

I am afraid that I would get in trouble with authorities but I have certainly considered it. The trouble is these people have several houses around the place. Sometimes they stay at one property and sometimes at another. They are all properties in a terrible state of disrepair. It's hard to say if son or daughter is inside a property, which one they would now be in? I have a feeling since the police went sniffing around last time that if indeed either one was in that particular property (the one pictured) they could now have moved them to a different property that they own.

When you say that they have several houses, do they own them all? And do they rent them out? You mention that they are in a terrible state of disrepair so if they do rent them out, maybe there are some regulations that they are not meeting? I don't know a huge amount on the subject but just thinking of other avenues to explore.

Also, on a different note, you can anonymously report people for benefit fraud, I think on the you gov site. We had issues with a neighbour and I ended up reporting him. I never found out what happened, but he returned sharpish to the flat so we achieved our aim.

Hi the houses they own they live in one or another intermittently. There may be one property they rent out but I do not know the address of it only a rough area. I dont know if they are claiming benefits apparently they are very wealthy although living in squalor. Thank you for the suggestion though I'm trying to find out the address of the other property

Hi Crimecat10, I just found your thread about the missing brother and sister and wondered if the police are looking into it yet?

If not, have you considered raising it with your MP?

Also, it might be worth raising with the local council - maybe Social Services are already aware of the family or could do something. Also Environmental Health may be able to require them to repair the properties, especially if poor condition is impacting the neighbourhood.

Maybe also raise your concerns with the GP surgery the family might use.

After poor Margaret Fleming, who was let-down by various agencies like these, it seems even more important for the authorities to take concerns like yours seriously, and it's a bit worrying that they're apparently being so flippant about it.

Thank you for caring and for raising your concerns here.

Isn't there a local authority dealing with environmental pollution you can file a complaint with? What is the process in the UK?
All those garbage will surely gather pests. Maybe this can be a way for the police to gain access because I'm sure the owners won't be compliant. Be careful though to not be targeted. These people sound unbalanced. Try to have more neighbors involved in this.
