What will Cindy's Role be in Upcoming Events?

I am not arguing with anything you or other posters are saying except what about CA not grieving for Caylee because I have nothing to draw a parallel to - the questioning of CA I've seen in her testimony and in her depositions has related to and only about ICA and the evidence related to ICA.

If LDB is smart, and we know she is both smart and a brilliant prosecutor, she will have Cindy's deposition readily available during trial testimony, and will ask her primarily closed questions - that is questions that require a yes or no answer only - and keep referring CA back to her previous deposition if/when there are any discrepancies.

I don't understand the ongoing - "CA is going to lie" statements and the "Cindy has lied" statements - as if this is something new. Cindy lies, I know it, you know it, the SA knows it and soon the jury will know it. It is what it is..

Cindy does not want her daughter put to death, and she lies. What is it about those two statements the jury won't recognize? Cindy has no bombshell information that will alter the destiny of the trial - the facts she will testify to are indisputable - she has some additional fluff she keeps altering, but the meat of what she brings to the table cannot be taken away. So really, no matter what Cindy does, or how she interacts with ICA is not going to make any difference at all when we get to the trial.

The trial is going to be two months long - and Cindy may testify right after JA's passionate address to the jury - part of which I believe we've heard. How is it going to go over if CA starts with the ICA smirking and I love you's, to the jury do you think, following so soon after JA's address? And then we have two months of brutal testimony and evidence, with only a minor Anthony blip in the mitigation section. Historically it appears family evidence in the mitigation does nothing to sway a jury.

So while posters may be concerned about CA's attempt at fancy dancing - I am not - at all. Maybe I am just more convinced that ICA will be found guilty of killing Caylee and will face either LWOP or the death penalty than other posters - I don't know.:waitasec:

I agree with you Logical. Cindy is transparent but she is trying very hard to be soft spoken and she was until she started lying and then she does that squint smile and stutters.

KC is going to be convicted; there is no doubt about that in my mind. Whether she gets the death penalty is another story. Depends on how well the State presents Caylee herself. Pretty much I think you have to make them fall in love with her and then take her away.

I just caught something in CA's testimony from the other day when JA was cross examining her. JA tricked CA with a question.
The SA is aware the DT is/will be claiming that 'dryer sheets and Febreze contain Chloroform' (So of course CA is now claiming she scattered the car with them and used a whole can of Febreze)

JA says:
Mrs. Anthony, do you have any Chloroform in your garage?

"No."

Are you in the habit of keeping Chloroform in your garage or your house?

"No, I have never worked with Chloroform or ever been around Chloroform"

JA was really referring to DRYER SHEETS AND FEBREZE kept at the house! (that supposedly have Chloroform)
So by Cindy saying NO, she is admitting her belief is that dryer sheets and Febreze do not have Chloroform.

I'm with ya there, Logical. The jurors need the full picture. I think the SA will serve it up on a silver platter. (in a nice way )

I think Cindy will be on the stand for a very long time. Even if she tries to come across as a grieving grandmother,eliciting sympathy from the jurors,it won't last long. LDB will have to set a firm tone with Cindy .It will be evident to the jurors,which may be offputting,initially,until they catch on to all the different versions Cindy has told.

Geez,when CA started talking about forgetting stuff because she just started anti-depressants ,and she TOLD Linda that,LDB must have reacted ,because Cindy says "i did too,Linda".
That's when JA had to ask HH to tell the witness not to address co-counsel.She just can't stop herself.
There will be questions about Cindy's parents,about Casey stealing ,about Henkel tape.
Cindy will get defensive .Imagine if questions come up about the tipline ,the foundation or about KidFinders .
She may be confronted by the State with quotes others attribute to her concerning ICA being a sociopath or telling others ICA will steal from them. She's going get frazzled and Pi77ed !
ICA might be giving her mother a crumb for now,but when some of the video of Cindy comes in (to impeach her,if nothing else) , and other ICA ex-friends quote Cindy,Little Miss Thang will be shooting daggers and birdies at Cindy.
Nah,it won't take long for the jury to catch on.
