Hmm.. If she IS placed on probation, is she allowed to drink or go out? Forgive me but I don't know a lot about the subject, I'm thinking there are curfews and drug/alcohol testing involved. Please correct me if I'm wrong..

Sorry I haven't read the entire thread -- but probation fer what? If you complete your sentence you're not on probation (as far as I know). JP sentenced her to 1 year each, and didn't say anything about probation in his sentencing. Or did I miss sumfin.

Thanks,

Mel

Wowza!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, Ms Anthony...you are not free just yet!!
I"m so happy I could cry!!!
Thank you, JS. Thank you for doing this for Caylee. One little piece of justice at a time.

Having come to this case a lot later than most, I wasn't terribly familiar with Judge Strickland until fairly recently. But I did catch an interview with him and an Orlando reporter (Bob Keating, I think?) in which it was clear that he was quite surprised by the verdict, and gave tons of reasons why. I instantly liked him. :D

So if that happens - what makes you think the courts wouldn't put liens on the source of the money? And when you declare bankruptcy, it doesn't just end there - there is a period of a number of months before you are released from your bankrupt state, when any monies earned are paid into the "estate". And what exactly is she living on during this period of time?

Have you seen the totals the SA have come up with? Getting very close to 500K...... And since Stan appears to have signed his order of probation today and forwarded to the OCSD....things will get a bit sticky for Miss FKC I think....

IMHO, I think the SA is calling sour grapes. Sorry, but that's my opinion. Why should the CFCMA have to pay because they decided to go forward with the death penalty and didn't win their case? Okay, so if they had won, she'd be in prison. But because the 12 jurors found her not-guilty, the SA is going to make her pay for their court case? Did she ask them to call all those experts? NO. Did she ask them to go out and get depos? NO. Did she ask them to hire a plethora of attorneys? NO.

IMHO she can pay for the crimes she was convited of -- lying. The rest is water under the bridge. I think this is the worst lawsuit ever (if the SA is going that route). Let's see - I couldn't put you in jail, so I'll go after your pocketbook instead.

Again - just my opinon. Thanks.

Does this put a scretching halt to her photo spread in Hustler magazine?

where is this hustler thing coming from? i have heard it multiple times. did they offer something to her?

OMG - I had to turn off NG last night. Yet another CFCMA show. And here's a very special guest "LARRY FLYNT". Huh? Excuse me? Larry Flynt? Seriously? The <unusal person> talked about how he's in talks with her team for a 500K spread in Hustler magazine.

And whats-her-name (whomever was filling in for NG) hung on to his every word like it was news worthy. I didn't stick around long so I have no idea what they said after that.

It was completely naseuating.

MOO

ETA the NG transcript. I'm beginning to believe Baez -- as this is surely turning into the CFCMA Entertainment show!

I am LMAO wondering which if any of the DT or their staff lives in Orange Co and will have to have a new roomie soon!!

Good question... let's see. JB lives and has his office in Osceola County (Kissimmee). CM lives in Volusia County I believe but has offices in Orange County. Dorothy Sims is from Marion County. Ann Finnell is from Duval County. Oops... maybe she's going to have to make up with Mom and Dad. :floorlaugh:

Larry Flynt offered ms anthony $500,000 + 10% of the profits to pose for Hustler magazine.

Two questions... sorry if they have already been asked.

1. Could KC flee the country and get out of this probation?
2. What if she doesn't show up, or she violates her probation?

Larry Flynt is just got a PR session.IMO His magazine, strip clubs and casino's empire is failing badly. Heck, his book is not even selling. So he made up an offer he has no intent of offering. But it has got his name in the press for the first time in years. That is how low Larry has sank. This is just as bad as that 22 year old guy who made a 5 million dollar offer. Just for some PR. Why do people believe these insane people???

She has no passport so it will be difficult to leave the country and if she does, it will be even more difficult to ever come back.

Richard Hornsby has a lot of information about violation of probation on his site here:

The media really needs to get their facts straight on this probation business.
In order for any probation to be enforced the State Attorney would have to take action, then Judge Perry would get involved.
The SA has already said he is not going to pursue any probation challenge.

State Attorney Won't Challenge Casey Probation

Spokesman: DOC Policy Allows Probation In Jail

Quote:
A spokesman for the state attorney's office told WESH 2 News it will not challenge Casey Anthony's probation status.

That probation sentence is not happening now.

After Anthony's acquittal on murder and manslaughter charges, the conditions of her probation were apparently misinterpreted by the Department of Corrections, paving the way for Anthony's release.

I'm very happy that they are going to make her pay for all of the man hours and experts that were wasted on this liar. Why should the State of FL have to swallow the costs? If she had told the truth none of us would even be here discussing this. I hope she stays in debt until she's 90.

where is casey; this thread asks? i'm inclined to believe in a stable somewhere or under a bridge someplace all the while wearing a sports bra.

Maybe, but I think one could also make the case the the SA went forward with 1st degree because Ms Anthony never told them her daughter died in an accidental drowning way back in July of the year she was arrested. They could argue that if Ms Anthony had told them about an accident, there never would have been a trial...for which the taxpayers of FL forked over big buckazoids.

Exactly ... The whole point is, if FCA is claiming accident and that she/they knew Caylee was dead from June 16 onwards then a LOT of time, resources and money was spent because FCA chose to sit in jail for 3 years and not reveal it was an accident.
